Went to the gym today with Hasli and Poh. I guess me and Hasli overdid things by trying too hard instead of easing into the workouts. I must say we both had a good workout, wobbly legs and sore arms notwithstanding.

On a slightly less painful but equally nausea-inducing note the pictures of Agnes and I at Sentosa on Saturday are finally up. My Hello.com software went bonkers for some reason hence I could not post them before today. Instead I used flickr. It worked out ok...only thing I miss though is the Picasa image editing software. That was easily overcome by editing the pictures using picasa and then exporting them back to the Pictures file. From there I uploaded the pictures to flickr. Slightly more tedious but the results are the same.

ghost of relationships past

As I embark on a new life with Agnes by my side inevitably there will be times when my past relationship experiences rear their ugly head. Without going into the specifics here, it is a fact that I have done some things in my life that I am not exactly proud about. There is nothing I can do to change my past but I do sincerely hope to have learnt from my mistakes and to not make the same trespasses again. Agnes seems to be able to accept me as a whole person,warts and all. I do not want anything to compromise my relationship with Agnes. Nothing.

I treasure honesty and trust in any relationship. I am so happy Agnes trusts me. It makes sharing stuff so much easier. At least I can be open when talking to her unlike in my previous relationship.

I do not know what else I can say here...

island of fantasy

Picked Agnes up from her place and then drove to Sentosa. Parked at the Gateway carpark. Took pictures at every place. Some nice ones came out of it. Will post em in due time. Had wanted to take pictures of the sunset from Palawan beach but we kind of overindulged in the monorail ride and reached the beach too late. We then rushed to the Musical Fountain. Agnes quite enjoyed the show. After the show we headed back to the car.

Drove to Fisherman's Village at Pasir Ris for dinner. We got there early enough and also managed to get a table. Was a cool and windy night which made for a good chillout time. The problem was the food. The satay stall had no chicken satay, ketupat or chicken wings. Grrr...
What is a satay stall without any of the above? It did not end there. The stall selling chinese food told us our seafood hor fun would take half an hour. The food was ok, we also had fried chicken wings and sotong fish balls. But the fact was that we had to collect the food ourselves kinda sucked. But how much can you order to justify your food being sent if the dishes you want are not available? And they have this self-service policy anyway. Notwithstanding the waiting and the fact that many dishes were unavailable. The cost of one can of green tea? $1.80!! That is like daylight robbery. Nonetheless we had a good meal and the atmosphere was great under the stars, with the sea not that far away.

After dinner we walked back to the car. Drove to East Coast. Showed Agnes the infamous car park H. She liked it. Think we may pay it a visit again sometime soon. On the downside Sunny's battery konked out at the most inappropriate time. So here I was with a flat battery and a car that just would not start in a place far away from any service station. I called the AA and they sent a guy down to jump-start the engine. He would take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to arrive, so Agnes and I kept ourselves occupied in the meantime.
The AA guy finally arrived and brought my beloved Sunny back to life once more.

Sent Agnes home. It is always kinda sad when Agnes has to go home. I never like goodbyes with her. Just wish we never had to part.

Drove home.

thoughts from the last few days...

• ever since me and Agnes and I hooked up I have been blogging less.And when I do blog it is normally not about my day but 'general' stuff. I guess my reason for having this blog in the first place was that I needed an outlet for my thoughts and feelings. I guess I have a real life person whom I can express those very same thoughts and feelings to which makes writing them here kind of redundant. It is not that I am thinking of retiring the blog,just that the content of my posts have changed from before.Another reason is that I have been spending lots of my after work hours with Agnes that by the time I get home I do not have time to blog as I have work the next day and sleep is a priority then.*sheepish grin*
• Gonna start a third blog soon. The new one is gonna be about Agnes and I. Mainly pictures and some writing presumably. I will post my usual pics at the Photo Blog but those of Agnes and myself will be at the new yet unnamed blog.
• Just installed the new PC-cillin. works a charm. got rid of lots of the crap on my pc.
• Gonna have to procure a new handheld vacuum cleaner soon. Sunny is so dusty with dust(duh) and Camou's fur. No sign yet of Agnes's hair though. Hee hee...
• My fish tank is kinda just there. The grass seems to have stopped growing and some have already started to yellow.Malnutrition presumably. No significant difference in quantity of fish life in the tank.Everything is just kinda there.Period.
• Going Sentosa later with my dearie.Gonna take lots of pictures.Will post them here in due time.
• Khim and I seem to be getting along rather well lately especially the last couple of days at the Timber Identification course. Hope it is a sign of good things to come..
• Agnes and I bought matching rings at Bugis yesterday. So now we are 'officially' a couple. Agnes even mentioned taking Salsa classes and taking Neo prints. *hair standing* Something about guys who salsa being more attractive and being better in bed. *gulp*
• I been playing on repeat U2's Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own on my car hi-fi.Just love this song. Can relate to it on so many levels..
• It feels so good to have someone who loves me right back. I tend to put my own interests aside for my partner.I am so happy Agnes does not take advantage of that. In fact she doies the exact same thing so everyone is happy. She is the sweetest.Wish I met her sooner in my life..
• Agnes has met my folks lots this week. Seems they have really taken to her. Maybe they are just being nice for my sake, but I think Agnes is cut from a different piece of cloth. In time they will see what I see...
• I do not know what it is, but seems like Camou has slowed a step or two.Maybe it is his health issues or whatever. He used to be hyperactive but now he does not seem to keep up with me on our walk/runs like he used to. Our runs seem more like leisurely strolls now. Not that I am complaining though.
