what Leon did on Saturday
It seems i am only alive on weekends by the look of my blog, and then go into hibernation from Monday to Friday...
Saturday
Met Joyce after work and went to Toa Payoh to collect my SAFRA Card and to look around at the facillities at the clubhouse.
After that we purposed to go to Mornington Country Club at Seletar Camp.
Instead of that I detoured to Animal Resort at Seletar Farmway where we managed to get up close and personal with the animals there. The treat for me was seeing real life little bunny-wunnie-babies.Although I have worked in the Zoo and have had bunnies as pets before I have never seen bunny babies before. In retrospect they do somewhat resemble rat babies...or hamster babies...or even newborn puppies! I guess we all look alike hairless.
As planned we later made the short drive down to Mornington. I do think that it is really a waste of time to actually pay to be a member there. The facillities are abysymal by the looks of what I seen so far. The only think that is remotely country-club like seems to be the pool which isn't even constructed yet.
After that we went to Punggol Beach. I had been wanting to bring Joyce there ever since me and Hasli went there. We took a short walk around before going back to the car. Joyce needed the loo and there was none there so we drove to the 'nearby' Marina Country Club. MCC is really nice. In contrast to the other MCC (Mornington!!). It just overlooks the bay and it is cool to watch the sun go down. We settled for dinner at the cafe there. The food plus the atmosphere make it worth every penny (or cent for that matter).
