the thin red line
Buffy died. *sob*
I had got her together with Spike and Angel. They were one big happy family. Too bad hamsters mate like..errmm...rabbits. So I had to separate them to maintain my sanity. She had last given birth to 3 lovely pups. The cutest and smallest of them affectionately named Tiny by Agnes. Of cos now the pups are all as big as their parents. As I had to separate the 'pups' as they were getting older, I had placed Buffy with her 2 daughters, and her son with its dad and uncle. As expected the newbies and the resident hammies squabbled at first sight. But in the end the 3 males settled and are now fast friends. The females,as usual, fought and quarrelled until the bitter end. One day when I came back from work and proceeded to feed the hammies. I noticed a lump of fur. I knew immediately it was Buffy. She had died and had bites. I know not if the bites were inflicted before or after her untimely demise. Buffy may have died of stress or as a direct result of fighting. Also I noticed she seemed unusually thin compared to my other over-fed hammies. She has always eaten less than my other hams and did not hoard her food like the others. But she was thin now. Poor girl probably was not eating well leading up to her death...
Gave away 3 of Mimi's last batch of pups. And 2 more remain looking for good home...
National day is tomorrow. I certainly do hope that Agnes is free and that we can spend the day together. Was thinking of going to the Istana,or catch a movie we been wanting to catch or watch the fireworks. But it all depends on whether Agnes is able to complete her school stuff.
Watched The Lake House with my dar dar the other day. Quite liked it. A tad slow at parts, but overall quite satisfying. Of cos it pales in comparision to Il Mare, the korean original version.
Wanted to catch helen The Little Fox with Agnes but it seems that fewer and fewer places are showing it. May have to get the vcd or dvd.
Also my quest for Quill has been fruitless thus far. Most shops I been to have been out of stock for that title. I even e-mailed the local distributor but they have yet to reply me.
Jadi and her 3 kitties now reside in a cage in our kitchen. Jadi gets to come out for meals and to ease herself. But otherwise, she is confined to the cage.
Re-did the layout of both my main blogs as you can see. I kinda like the new look and features. This blog now has a Flickr photo thingy below the Links, that changes each time you refresh the page or log in. The only drawback: it shows random pictures, including bad and unflattering ones. The post title bars include my fav animal,THE TIGER. The blog background has paw prints!!
The Love Divine, aka A Love Story, one now has a scrolling marquee of pictures. Now all it needs are some decent entries.
Most prob going JB with Hasli and his Mrs this saturday. Hopefully my dear will be able to join us,as it would feel kinda lost without her by my side. Tonight we all going Beach Road(again???)for dinner. Agnes is unable to confirm her participation...

I had proposed to Agnes that we purchase a few more plants and put them at my office so I can take care of them in my free time. I have one empty greenhouse here under my charge. Might as well put it to good use.
