The Chicken Rice stall

Saw this post from a famous local forum... just to share it with you guys...

=================================================

Today lunch time i order chicken rice, this stall owner is so good.

Normally his chicken rice is $2.50 per plate. He subsidized me $0.50 from the market rate and charge me only $2.00.

Next time must patronise more since the stall owner is such a caring person.

He also ask me to vote him as best chicken rice every 5 year if i want to continue to enjoy the subsidy. He will give out free chicken rice before the voting. If he wins the award, there might be some Adjustment to the pricing but dont worry, you will still be subsidized.
==================================================

Another chap replied this... I find this rather interesting and creative... Enjoy...

Yeah, I also patronize the same chicken rice stall that you do. And I agree with you, he really is very caring. In fact, he is so caring I think we should call him an ELITE amongst all the caring chicken rice stall owners.

Recently our caring chicken rice stall owner implemented a new policy. Every time we buy chicken rice from him, there will be a stranger from another land who will come and sit beside us and help us eat our serving of chicken rice. The stall owner said we cannot possibly finish all the chicken rice on our own, so a foreigner must come and help us finish it. The stall owner said we should be grateful to the foreigner for helping us eat our chicken rice even though we paid the full amount for it and the foreigner paid nothing.

The foreigners are very good indeed. In order to reward them well, all foreigners will queue up in front of us during peak hours, and they will always be served first. Also, local customers like us will have to help the stall owner perform Stall Service by helping to clean the freshly slaughtered chickens and washing the dishes after use. The Stall Service will be implemented for all local customers above the age of 18, and will last till they are 21. In addition, all local customers have to serve 2 to 3 weeks of Stall Service every year until they reach the age of 40 or so. Of course, the foreigners who eat our chicken rice for free don't need to perform Stall Service.

I love our chicken rice stall owner! And will sure vote him the Best chicken rice stall owner every 5 years!

=========================================================
I went to the Chicken Rice Stall. The owner told me that the rice will still be subsidized at $2. But in order to improve on the quality of the chicken rice, the black sauce will cost me 10 cents more and the chilli sauce 20 cents more soon.

Before I could reason with him, he told me not to worry because this is the only way I can still continue to enjoy the chicken rice. In fact, he called for all chicken rice eaters to unite and share his vision of a better plate of chicken rice tomorrow. (His chicken will now come from Thailand since Mrs Chicken Rice Seller has secured control over the Thai chicken Breeder Association. There are some problems though with Thai chicken because of the recent bird flu but that is entirely another story).

And, on top of that, the kind chicken rice seller told everyone in the queue that there will be EXTRA subsidy of exactly 5 cents per plate paid out over a period of 3 years. And to make sure that nobody is left out of this multi faceted approach to better good chicken rice in future, all take-aways will come with a free plastic bag* (conditions apply) each.

He told us this is the beginning of more good things. (Like paying for the rubber band and the garlic or ginger or fork and spoon.)

Let us all hail the King of Chicken Rice Seller and unite together to pray that he lives to become the Man of the Year and be featured on the cover of the Chicken Times.

Ya, I too visited the chicken rice store during lunch. Everyone in the queue was KPKB-ing about the high prices but still queue for the food anyways... heard got ah bengs there disturbing customers of other food stores and hinting customers that the chicken rice store owner knows who is not patronising his store though the sign at the kopitiam says that customers are free to choose any food stores and buy any food they want.

I also noticed that an old man is sitting behind doing nothing. Think it's the chicken rice store owner's daddy. Heard he is taking a cut of the store's takings even though he is doing nothing.

Got another prata store beside the chicken rice store with an old indian man flipping prata inside. Also heard that he is taking in high earnings by just flip flip prata for show only.
