Trouble in paradise:
Woke up this morning to hear about a bomb going off in the Maldives. 12 tourists were injured in the blast. Two Britons, two Japanese and eight Chinese were injured in the blast, in an area of the capital Male. Seems we are no closer to resolving the threat of terrorists than we were in 2001.

In my previous post I elaborated somewhat on Agnes and her relationship with the people around me (my family and friends), and Agnes took exception to some of the things I said. But guess such personal differences should not be discussed at length here in this blog.

Got three calendars from Noah's Ark. One for me, one for Agnes..and the other one...for dunno who. Will get more if anyone wants. remember $10 a calendar. Your money will go a long way to helping homeless pets have a decent life.

someone proposed to go in on 20th October. but doubt my dear wife can make it...

As some of you may have noticed, I have changed the look of this blog again. Now it is purple background, with falling crosses, no music, new title and some christian-related graphics. Probably gonna do more changes in the days and weeks to come. Including deleting some obsolete links and to downgrade/upgrade some of the links which have cease to be as good reads.

Will be accompanying Agnes to her interview on Wednesday and then sending her to school after. Maybe..just maybe, we will meet the girls after school at Clarke Quay.

Been thinking...
... to customise a cage for Scruff and Muff using the same materials I used to make their railings.

only problem is figuring out how to do a base plate to hold the bedding, but think i cn figure something out.

....what kind of dog to get.
Breeds allowed for HDB flats

62 breeds, one pet allowed. sigh. But if our lifestyles are any indication, then maybe these are the ones we would shortlist:

Dachshund

Cavalier king Charles

Italian Greyhound

jack Russell

Miniature Pinscher

...to be continued...

hey there read that you want a dog? Well I am a first time dog owner and have with me a 3 yr old Maltese named Shalom.

Malteses are good companions, but bear in mind that you need to really take care of their hair if you want them long. As for me, I have periods in the year where i bravely shave her down totally till no one knows she's a maltese.

Other than that, I think you should try having a dog because they are really good companions. Don rush into buying, visit a million shops and dogs if necessary.

Alot of expenses will be incurred... vet food accessories like doggy cage microchip license etc. Be prepared for them too.

God bless!

we were thinking to adopt even. spca, animal lovers league etc have nice dogs for adoption. but nt many HDB approved breeds.

a maltese is nice, but we are bit concerned about having a dog with long fur and sheds.
