flat update:

the flooring and some of the kitchen work has already been completed.
the living room colour came out fine, however the colour of the tiles of the bed room did become a point of contention. but after some contemplation it is not too bad after all. initially we had wanted a darker coloured floor tiles for the rooms to give it a 'cozy' feel. but instead we got the lighter tone one which was our second choice. the

we are now finalising the paint colours for the various rooms, the colour schemes and style for the kitchen cabinets & built-in wardrobe. and also indicated where we want the various light fixtures and fans to be. the bathroom and kitchen kitchen accessories have been delivered and will be installed in due time.

things seem to be going well, and hopefully things will turn out as we have envisioned.
