my trip to Siem Reap and Angkor

I will be flying off to Siem Reap on Tuesday morning.
I will be there until Sunday.

My flight departs at 6 am. so I probably have to be there by around 4.30-ish.

I will be staying at Kazna Hotel (http://www.kaznahotel.com/)

It cost me only $188 for 5 nights stay. The hotel comes highly recommended. they even provide free internet access and airport transfer. if you think that for what I paid, I would get a budget hotel standard room, well... take a look...

should be fine since it is only me.

I have also planned my itinerary whilst I am there. although this is not definitive and is subject to change.

Day 1: Tuesday
Check in hotel
rest a bit
Go to the Angkor National Museum (angkornationalmuseum.com)

Go to the famous Pub Street and the Old Market (Phsar Chas) and night market




Day 2 : Wednesday
Meet my guide at 8:30 am then leave from hotel to buy 3 days ticket
visit South Gate of Angkor Thom
Central of Angkor Thom ( Bayon , Baphoun,Elephant and Lepper King Terraces )

visit Ta Promh ( Tomb Raider Temple)

lunch and short relax
Angkor Wat and sunset at Phnom Bakeng.

back to hotel



Day 3: Thursday
leave very early at 5 am to catch the sunrise over Angkor Wat .
back to hotel for breakfast and short rest.
visit Bantey Kdei , Pre Rup , East Mebon , Tasom , Neak Poan and Preah Khan temple

in the evening catch a Cambodian Cultural Show ( Apsara Dance )



Day 4: Friday
visit Bantey Srei

landmine museum
Bantey Samre
visit floating villages of Tonle Sap



Day 5: Saturday
Go to Happy Ranch for horse riding in the countryside



and more last minute shopping



Day 6:Sunday
be at airport really early again to fly home.with a stop over in Phnom Penh
