In those long dreary days
In depression and sorrow.
I still have a joy--
My Hope for tomorrow.
When I am downcast
and I feel I might fall,
There's a peace in my soul
For He's my All in All!
When my foes o'er take me
And it feels all hope is gone,
My God is there fighting,
Giving grace to keep going on!
When my heart feels so heavy
And troubles worry me so,
My Jesus is with me,
To carry all my load!
I am so thankful to have a friend so dear,
For He is my Hope and Stay,
And since He is with me,
Whom shall I fear?
