Been a while....
It has been a while since I last wrote anything worthy of mention. Nov 29th was the last time I actually wrote an entry. So what has transpired since then?
On Saturday I sent Sunny to the workshop for some minor repairs. The aircon was unable to work unless it was at the highest fan speed since the previous Saturday. So it made for a cold and windy ride. I finally found the time to go down to the workshop and get it fixed. The guy there did a thorough maintenance and repair of the aircon system. An overhaul more like it. He also found that one of the radiator fans was not working so had it replaced. I paid a grand total of $440.00 for everything. But somehow I felt like some of the repairs were not really necessary. I may not be an auto mechanic but everything is fine now with the car so....
Been down with the flu this week too. The worst part about having the flu with me is that I also get asthma soon after. Double whammy! It probably has something to do with the mucus or whatever getting into my lungs and my immunity level being down that causes the asthma attacks to come. This only adds to my insomnia problems that I have been having lately. I now wake up in the middle of the night wheezing. Kinda miserable existence like that....
Did I mention we have a new addition to the family? It's name is Camo (or is it Camou?), which is short from 'camoufladge',a miniature Chihuahua. A little livewire of a pup all of 7 weeks old. He is cuteness personified (or to be more precise 'animalified').Big eyes, pointy ears...you know the rest. Everyone that comes into contact with Camo seems to be entranced by his cuteness. I suspect he will be one pampered pup. Will post one of his pics here as soon as I get one.
The garden...it blooms. The planted tank in my room which seemed to be overwhelmed by algae problems, dying fish, snails and other complications seems to be suddenly growing like crazy. The riccia is growing and bubbling like in the books.Wow...I am so happy.....
On Friday Paula,Noel,Leonard,William, some ang moh guy whom I can't recall the name and I went down to see Passport to Smackdown at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It was a great show although not as good as the previous ones we went to. The problem was as in attending any performance in Singapore is that Singaporeans are so darn inconsiderate! They just do not have civic consciousness. They block you when you are seated. They sit down when they should be standing. They stand when they should be sitting. They show little or no consideration for the comfort of their fellow countrymen. They always have to be told what to do and when to do it. Lost sheep.....
Ha haaa...also got a $30 fine for parking without displaying a parking coupon at the S.I.S.
