The week in summary

Normally I do not touch on the weekdays cos nothing of note happens anyway.

This week I was hardly ever at my PC doing my TradeNet stuff. It was because I was busy under the tutelage of Ana learning how to cashier. It seems the main difficulty I have is all the extra paperwork we have to do as cashier. I do not remember it being that way when I used to help out as cashier before. Maybe it has something to do with Ana being culpable for making mistakes ever so often.So the paperwork supposedly minimises the margin of error. But in my honest opinion it only makes a complicated process even more complicated.So it is no longer a straightforward proposition to perform your cashiering duties. In addition to the actual cashiering, you have to document all transactions and consolidate all the cheques etc. No wonder Ana complains so much. It is a silly system that is manpower intensive. Bleh!! Civil Service..what to do??

I also managed to go out with my beloved Lyn for an audit for one of the fumigation companies accredited by us. Lyn followed me around to a few of the places in Tuas and Jurong before our appointment at 1130 at Jurong Port Road. Was nice to be alone with my sis for a few hours. It is not something we get to do very often these days. The audit itself was fun.The guys from the company were really nice and Lyn was ever-so-patient with all of us(me included). It was my first time participating in an accreditation audit for a fumigation company so it was fun. I know it would not have been the same had Dr.Ali been the one conducting the audit.
After the audit we excused ourselves and declined their invitation to lunch.Instead we went to West Coast Hawker Centre for lunch. Lyn even bought sugar cane juice for mummy Ana and her sweetheart Poh.All together now...awwwww...... :P

On friday, I had to go out for inspections once again. This time I took the opportunity to meet up Hasli for lunch near his place.Enough said.

All in all a rather different kind of week. Mostly good I would say.
