me is here!

I said yesterday that I would blog more regularly. So I went to the blogger page. Entered my username. Entered my password. And then clicked 'sign in'.
I then clicked the '+' sign under New Post.

So here I am blogging again. Only problem is I find I have nothing to blog about. So I get away with it by describing what I did and how I have no idea what to blog about.
Talk about getting away with murder. But all things considered I have posted a post(what else?), although it contains nothing of any note. To write a post about not knowing what to blog about and then go on and on about it until it very nearly fills up the whole page is a legitimate way to say something without saying anything at all.

Another way around the problem is to just describe inane things in my post. I can say something really cool like 'I typed as series of letters into my keyboard which formed words. The words became sentences which then became part of an actual paragraph...'

Or I could describe the various coffee stains in and around my desktop area. I am sure lots of my readers are dying to hear about that.

The usual way before of filling up my post with content was to tell what I did that day. I can say we went to Orchard and had a great time shopping. How we bought loads of stuff. The things we bought could for example include a really cute mug(with cover) with a sea turtle motif, a dress, a skirt($89.90!! most expensive skirt Agnes ever bought. Courtesy of my Taka vouchers no less) and 2 birthday cards.

With that done I could write about what I was planning to do tomorrow. I can say how I will be working tomorrow. And after work I will go back home to do up my fish tank. And then go pick Agnes up from her place and how we would proceed to Bishan Park for our weekly jog. We would then follow that up with heading back to my place to wash up and shop for mangoes (not necessarily in that order). And then take a nice long nap and spent some quality alone time together. We would then cap off the day with a nice, long drive to Beach Road to fetch Phyllis home from a wedding dinner.

Another failsafe way to put words to text would be to just whine about something like an irritating colleague(read:boss/supervisor), or some government policy, the job market or any other issue that affects me in some obscure and yet tangential way that has little or no interest to my reader.

Or just write a long list of things I would like to do. And then not actually do most or all of the stuff I listed. Would be quite redundant to make a list and actually do what I write, wouldn't it? That I would have nothing to fill in the blank spaces next time round. Talk about planning ahead. And when I actually do one of the things that I wrote about, I can devote an entire spiel on how rewarding and satisfying it was to do the task or achieve the goal that I had set. I could add on how I should do more of the stuff that I write about and how doing them is so fulfilling. This then sets me up for writing another more expansive list which I then true to form do not do most of the stuff listed and then whine how there is so little time to do the stuff that I want to do. This sequence can go on for infinitum whenever I have writers block.

So many options that I do not know which one to choose.

So meanwhile,as I try to figure out what to write in my blog you guys just click on any of the links on the right and read actual content from actual bloggers who actually write actual posts containing actual thoughts and stuff that actually happened to actual people.
