the week that was
Agnes and I attended Poh's and Lyn's ROM ceremony on Sunday. I must say it was the most enjoyable ROM I been to in my young life. After that Hasli & Faezah joined us to go down to Plaza sing and Suntec before heading home.
Agnes and I are making an effort to go jogging every week. On saturday we went to Bishan Park to jog. I must say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. We are gonna try to do it each and every week. I think the key to keeping me motivated is to change the venue every week.
Places I have in mind:
- Botanic Garden's
- Upper Seletar Reservoir
- Lower Pierce
- Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
- West Coast Park
- Labrador Park
- Sentosa
- Changi Beach
- Fort Canning
- Pasir Ris Park
- Sembawang Park
- Tanjong Rhu
- Marina City park
- Marina promenade park
- Simpang Kiri
Bought 5 new fish. Goldfish this time. So big and fat. Very amusing to watch they slowly waddling(in a fish-like way of course) across the tank. 1 died shortly after being put in. Another died after getting entangled in the wires. So that leaves 3.
Beginner's classes for guitar are over. Intermediate starts next week. The dilemma now is whether to continue on or sign up for classes at one of the music schools where we will get better teaching and the personal attention that we need if we hope to improve. Decisions..decisions....
Took pictures at the ROM ceremony I mentioned above. Too bad most of the pictures turned up sub-par. It was mainly due to the awkward lighting in the room. Sunlight shined in from one side of the room which played havoc with the pictures. Most of the subjects either came out too dark or overexposed depending on where you were. I will not be posting up the pictures here without permission from Lyn & Poh.
On a sidenote there was a misunderstanding that occured there which made what was supposed to be a happy occasion into a somewhat bitter experience. Apologies were made and the parties involved agreed not to dwell on it any longer. How petty people can be. Grrr...
