A Life Less Ordinary
Mid year bonus:
I plan to get a foldable bike. Saw one the other day for $198. Still thinking abt it. A fun way to exercise. Better than jogging thats for sure. Also planning to go to JB with Hasli. Dinner and shopping. Our last trip up north was hampered by vehicular problems. Hopefully this one will be better.
I been wanting to go to Israel with my church for the last few years but each time I tried to finalise things a spanner was thrown into the works. So this year I will be going. Of course after consulting my dear Agnes. Twin- or triple-sharing: S$3,070.00 nett per adult/child. A deposit of S$1,500.00 per person upon registration is required (non-refundable). To be paid by 21 July 2006.
Had a great time with Agnes and her pals. We went over to Yenling's place last Saturday. Watched Sex & the City with them. Wish all our outings could be like that. Guess I like to be an integral part of goings-ons rather than a peripheral figure.
Poison was found bloodied and dead outside our home. We are not sure if he was run over by a vehicle or was physically attacked by a person or an animal. The thing is that he is gone and we cant bring him back. Poison was my favourite amongst the 3 siblings. Monk was the attention seeking one, Nico was the sleepy, aloof one. Poison was the alpha male of the house. In some ways he was like Monk in the way he tries to get attention...sometimes. He was no Monk, but he sure tried. He had claws which he tended to dig into your thighs whenever he is on your lap. He had the gait of one who was ruler of his domain. Poison was the only cat I allowed into my room until I started having hamsters. Feels kinda odd not having him around. We had the 3 kittens(at the time) since they were so young. Cannot imagine it without them. Just does not seem right.
