mindless sunday post
.Did not go to church today for some reason although I was up since morning. Could have made it for the 11.30 service but thought better of it. Then it was supposed to be the 2 pm service, but felt a bit lethargic so decided to go for the 5 pm one. Then rest is history. Well sort of, if not going to church on sunday constitutes a historic event.
Being sunday, I thought to go to the New Creation Church website to watch the webcast(cheap plug here!), but after about 5 minutes the entire screen froze. Supposedly my PC was overwhelmed by the goodness of God exuding from the monitor.
Whilst we are discussing being overwhelmed by goodness, how about them ESPN babes? ESPN and Star Sports have been making a concerted effort to differentiate themselves from each other. What better way to differentiate than to have babes..babes..babes....
First it was the luscious Jamie Yeo...
Of course she is not everyone's cup of tea based on some of the catty comments I hear about her.
and then there is Paula Malai Ali....
She hosts For Men Only on Star Sports....
And then now...
Charlotte Webster!
In other news, The new National Museum is gonna open in December. I consider myself a cultural sort of guy, at least that is my impression in my own mind. Deluded though that may be. I will definitely be going down to take a look-see when the place opens.
And what about that big chasm now where the old National Library used to be? They are building some sort of highway thing there. which was the reason the library had to move in the first place. So as it looks now it is like this big hole in the hill at the foot of Fort Canning Hill.
The National Environment Agency has advised all singaporeans to reduce rigorous outdoor activities due to the recent high PSI readings. As a dutiful singaporean I will do as prescribed by the powers-that-be. In other news, the goverment is stepping up their campaign to encourage singaporeans to marry and have more kids. The NEA directive didnt however say anything about rigorous indoor activities....
