The lion returns...

Been a while since I last blogged. Been busy. But no idea busy with what now that I think about it. When you do not blog for a while lots of the details and stuff you wanted to blog about kinda fall between the cracks.

Agnes and I wanted to sign up for some marriage preparation course last saturday, but they were closed. Seems like they only open on weekdays(during ofice hours). So gonna be kinda tough to make the time for the course. Anyway the guy I spoke to the second time was kinda rude and unhelpful, unlike the guy I spoke to the first time, Chee Keong. Kinda strange how these people from religious affiliated organisations can be sometimes.

two of my hamsters died under mysterious circumstances. Noticed a bad smell and that the food was uneaten. Normally they would come out when I opened the cage to put food in. One of the hamsters had bite marks on its head but otherwise there were no injuries.
As a result of the above, the cages(and the hamsters therein) were re-organised. Rusty turned out the main benefactor. She now lives in a hamster paradise consisting of one 2ft tank and two cages.The three housings are connected by tubes.
So I now have 3 winter whites and one syrian hamster.

Feel like going to the big Singapore vs malaysia ASEAN Cup semi-final match this saturday. But it depends what Agnes wants to do and feels like doing also. Been a while since I have been to a live match, let alone one of this significance.

Hurt my myself when I fell down the other day whilst we were at East Coast Park. It was dark and there was a dustbin between me and the dustbin where I was heading to. I fell when my leg dropped into uncovered drain. Sustained cuts on my hand, bruises on my shin. but the main injury I sustained was that I twisted my left ankle/leg. It hurt as hell the first couple of days. It is much better now, but still can feel th soreness when I walk or my ankle twists in an awkward angle.

Think it is about time I started working out again. I have not jogged, done weights or push-ups for eons. Not that I feel unhealthy or anything, just that I could be in better shape.

what a great weekend of matches! Liverpool thumped chelsea 2-0, and Arsenal came back from the dead to beat Man U 2-1. There is still a big gap between the top two and the teams in 3rd and 4th place, but at least the gaps has been closed somewhat. but the main stories coming out have been whether Mourinho is leaving Chelsea, the David Beckham soap opera and Arsenal's double elimination of Pool from the League and FA Cups in emphatic fashion. Los Angeles Galaxy paid crazy money to lure Beckham over next season. And seems like other clubs in the MLS are following suit and looking to sign big stars like Zidane and other former world class names.

The meteorological department has forecasts monsoon winds in the next few days. looks like things are gonna get worse before they get better. In malaysia, they are at Code Red,the highest warning level. They anticipate more floods in the weeks to come.

In case you have not noticed, I got an award for best christian blog last week for one of my posts. Not bad for something that is basically my life story thus far. For a while now I have procrastinated and resisted to make this blog more reflective of my faith. but after all these postive reviews, maybe I should resist and procrastinate no more.

Next month is our 2 year anniversary!! we have come so far in these 2 years. and we still have more good years (to borrow an electorial phrase) to come.

Bought a stand and a USB bus for my laptop. so now i can move and angle my lappy beter than in the previous configuration. and now all my external devices can be attached to my laptop. previously i had to unplug a device in order to attach another as my laptop has only 3 USB ports. One is more my mouse, another for my wireless connector. So that left one more for all my other devices (printer, webcam, modem etc...)
