rabbits, rabbits and rabbits
We were running low on timothy hay. I had wanted to get it on Monday, but we had that dinner thingy that never was. So yesterday I went down to Yishun to get the hay. Me being me, I got timothy hay....
.....and alfalfa hay....
.... and an attachable feeding bowl
.....and....
....and big water bottle....
....and a pet nursing kit.
.....it all came up to over $40.
But I guess when it comes to my pets no expense is too much.
After that I watched Rocky Balboa. I always root for the underdog, that is probably why Rocky resonates with many of us. He overcomes seemingly overwhelming odds in each installment of the Rocky series. This time a 60 year old dude faces a trash talking, undefeated and undisputed champion. A fitting end to one of the most successful franchises in movie history.
RATING: 4 punching bags out of 5
Ever since Muffy has been back from the vet's, we have had to syringe-feed him and force-feed him his medication. The feeding is ok. He loves to be fed his critical rodent care formula. Only thing is a single feeding can last between 1 to 2 hours! The medication on the other hand is an ordeal in itself. Muffy absolutely hates the taste of it. So I have to literally force it down his throat. So fur flies and you end up with medicine all over by the time it is done. Think Muffy hates me now. But loves his mummy for feeding him his favourite food.

Muffy has to go back to see the doc 5 days after his discharge. So that would probably make it tomorrow (Friday). But Agnes and myself are gonna try to send off her parents, who are going to Perak again, in the evening. So Agnes is gonna be 'nobody's child' again.
Nevermind...she will always be my baby.
So that rules out tomorrow. Unless I am able to get away from the office in the afternoon. Then can send the bunnies to see the vet then go and do the other stuff after that.
Also Scruffy has his left ear bent down since last week. Not sure how that came about. He does not look to be in any pain or difficulties, but will probably get it checked out when we bring Muffy anyway. Meanwhile we can also enquire about their sex and when we can neuter/spay them.
Been at HQ all this week. Been doing a UAT 'with' Dr Ali. HQ is a change of scene for me. But still it is a place outside of my comfort zone to be honest. I am so used to living 10 minutes away from my workplace, that the trip to Maxwell does eat into my usual sleeping hours. But small merces ae abound. get to meet up with people I do not usually get to meet like Yvonne and Yenling. On the flipside, I see people like Lily Ling, Mr Leow and Thomas. Such pricks!! Also I do get that time after lunch to wander around town before I head back to the office, and Dr Ali's free lunches are much appreciated. Most of the times I been there this week have been half-day affairs. Which is quite a waste of time having to wake up early to get there on time and all the inconvenience of travelling, then having to find lunch and find my own way back to Sembawang, and then having nothing to do in the afternoon until it is time to go home. But it is not my loss.
But it is also the reason that I may be able to find time to bring the rabbits to the vet tomorrow.
