Singapore has been drawn to play in Group D

Group D: Saudi Arabia(4), Uzbekistan(7), Lebanon(13), Singapore(29)

Saudi Arabia, the losing finalists to Iraq at the Asian Cup earlier this year, will face Uzbekistan, Lebanon and tiny Singapore, who have never been this far before

The winners and runners-up from each group move to round four where they will be split into two groups of five.

The first and second placed teams from that round qualify for South Africa, with the third-placed teams playing each other home-and-away for the right to take on Oceania's best side to also make the finals.
