Camou News Update (CNU)
:(
Went to see Camou today at the animal hospital. My mum and dad had been there just before we rached and said he was cheerful and stuff. So we decided that we were gonna see him after all. The reason being that Agnes tends to get a bit emotional seeing animals in distress. We were not willing to go and have him lying there looking forlorn. It is just too heart breaking for Agnes at least.
When we got here it was drizzling slightly.
We enquired at the enquiry counter, which is what people who want to make enquiries do. They directed us to the emergency room ward next door. We found Camou lying there looking all sad and despondent as any puppy would be. He tried his utmost to rise to his feet to greet us when we approached his cage, but crumpled in a heap after a while. I stroked him through the bars. he seemed aware of what was going on around him but did not seem to be strong enough to be mobile within the confines of his cage.
Finally the attending doctor, one Doctor Goh, dropped in to say hi. So we enquired further on Camou's condition and the options open to us. To be quite honest he seemed unsure of what he was saying. He did not exactly fill me with confidence. In fact he gave me the impression of a greasy, slimy used car salesman. Totally unprofessional in my view. Not someone whom I would want to leave the life of my beloved pooch in the hands of.
I am gonna ask Noel and Paula to maybe get a second opinion from another doctor before proceeding with any operation. Nadia suggested a clinic at Sunset Way which come highly regarded. An option to consider...
