I been trying to hold off this post for as long as I could. But this years 'official' NDP song sucks. Performed by Taufik and Rui-En. 2 competent singers. But listening to it one would wonder how Taufik ever won Singapore Idol, and how Rui-En ever got this gig. Both sound decidedly ordinary. Where are the lush R&B vocals of Taufik Batisah and the powerful pop vocal of Rui-En??
