the return of the lion
Been too long since i last posted anything here. in the meantime i been busy with my hamsters and stuff. so much to say but will have to keep it short due to time:

The Queen is in Singapore. How cool is that?

Movies I have watched:
Matchpoint:Despite the rave reviews and awards it garnered I did not really enjoy it. Found the plot convoluted and the pace too slow. It is after all a Woody Allen show.
Underworld:Evolution: liked this installation even more than the first one which was more dark(pun partially intended). This one was more action packed and the plot was paced better. Best part is finally finding out what Kate Beckinsdale wears(or rather does not wear) under that figure hugiing catsuit.
Munich: Was a great movie. Great storytelling by Steven Spielberg to dramatise the aftermath of the massacre at the Munich Olympics in 1972.
Speaking of movies, Brokeback Mountain is the movie on everyones lips. In the wake of the recent Oscars, which it did not win Best Picture despite being the heavy favorite, it has become a must-see movie of the year.

On Saturday I brought Agnes uncle and family from KL to Sentosa. Was a hot day. Took a lot out of Agnes and myself, but ultimately rewarding. It was also an opportunity for my parents to meet the rest of Agnes family. I must say they got along well, especially the dads who have so much in common. After Sentosa we all went for dinner at a coffeeshop near Agnes place and then went back to Agnes's place for more socialising.

Now have 2 tanks of hamsters.Normal Winter Whites and Sapphire Winter Whites. The SWW are so cute.

My fish are doing well.Funny thing that. That when they could never survive if their lives depended on it before(duh), now they seem to have reached that plateau where all I have to do is maintain and feed them.

Got a new 5 level shelf for the room. So much of the fish and hamster accessories occupy the lower levels and the 2 plastic tanks housing the hammies occupy the 2 remaining floors.

Been spending more time with family in lieu of Agnes. Kinda cool that.I do realise that I spend very little quality time with them.
@
Agnes reminded me of my pledge to go back and study part time.
@
Cut my hair. Now it is much shorter. But at least I am back to using hair gel so it does not look so 'flat'

Meeting Agnes again tomorrow. Now that we spend more time apart due to Agnes's school commitments, it makes every moment we have all that much more precious and meaningful. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow but you can be assured that it will be all good.

I am sure there is lots more to say but I cant for the life of me remember what.....
