I will be there between 20th and 29th November. So it will be as autumn turns into winter when I get there. About the best time of year to visit Israel...
November
In Jerusalem
(Jerusalem is situated high in the Judean Hills, making its weather 4–5 deg C cooler than in Tel Aviv. )
Average temperatures: 12–19 deg C
Average humidity level: 43–77 per cent
In Galilee
(Galilee is in the north, which is quite mountainous. Winters here are usually cold and rainy, while summers are pleasant and humid. )
Average temperatures: 10–17 deg C
Average humidity level: 48–75 per cent
December
In Jerusalem
Average temperatures: 8–14 deg C
Average humidity level: 54–84 per cent
In Galilee
Average temperatures: 6–11 deg C
Average humidity level: 62–87 per cent
November: Autumn
General weather description: Some will say that this is the nicest season in Israel. The temperature in Tel Aviv is usually between 16 and 24 deg C. In Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, the temperature is approximately 3 deg C colder, while in Eilat, it is usually 3 deg C warmer.
What to wear: Long-sleeved shirts and a light jacket will do.
December: Winter
General weather description: Temperatures of between 5 and 18 deg C can be expected in Tel Aviv. It may get colder around Jerusalem and the Golan Heights with temperatures dropping to 0 deg C at night.
What to wear: A good fleece jacket. If you are more susceptible to feeling cold, bring a woollen coat. Bring water-resistant shoes as it can get rainy.
