Pearl of the Orient
got back yesterday from HK. Agnes returns on friday evening. brought my laptop along and had planned to blog everyday of my trip, but it did not come to fruition. although i did edit and upload all the pictures we took.
as some wise ass said, a picture speaks a thousand words,so here are some choice pictures:
our hotel room. small but cosy and well equipped. :)
our hotel is in the Mongkok area, so it is always bustling, especially at night when the roads are closed and pedestrians rule the roost.
and in almost every public space you will come across Falungong activists
showing the 'atrocities' and 'abuse' they been subjected to by the 'brutal' chinese regime.
we visited the Avenue of Stars...
we also caught the famed Symphony of Lights Show:
the following day we went down to the famous Ocean Park.It was a hot day and it was packed!
I also visited Victoria's Peak and the Hong Kong Zoological & Botanical Gardens:
I also made a pilgrimage to Ngong Ping and the Giant Sitting Buddha:
Agnes and myself also spent a day at HK Disney:
on sunday we ventured to Stanley Market,The Peak (at night) and Madame Tussauds:
