We are in the midst of the Asian Cup. And what a ride it has been thus far. For the first time 4 SEA nations are co-hosting it. 3 of them gave a good account of themselves. One did not. 3 guesses which one did not impress.
Australia came into overwhelming favourites to win it. Drew their first match and lost the second. Beat Thailand to qualify where they lost to Japan on penalties. I guess this loss will put them in good stead for future competitions.

had a little birthday celebration for mummy dearest at SAF Yacht Club today. Was swarming with US navy guys (I presume). Hard to get in. Food was so so. weather sucked. drizzling non-stop. so no way of sitting outside.
