blind faith?

Last few days I have been emailing back and forth with a girl calling herself faith75. The reason why I am blogging this is that she said some nasty things about me, the church I attend and my pastor. Apparently she had heard some rumours about my church and its messages and took great exception to it. She had attended NCC a couple of times just to see if the rumours were true.

The problem I have with all of this was that she had this holier-than-thou attitude and resorted to calling me names when I presented my case. It is so-called christians like her that give us all a bad rap. Thay go around with their hard sell tactics and peer pressure to gain converts. They turn their noses at people of other faiths. They act like they have got it made and that everyone else that does not subscribe to their doctrines is going straight to hell.

I was never rude nor judgemental to her at any time. I presented my case clearly and objectively. If she feels that her methods will make me reconsider attending my church then she is so..so...wrong. It only make me even more sure that I never want to end up like her.

Been 5 days since my last blog. Been 'commenting' with olde nads about where to go when we meet up and I think a movie may be swell if there is a good one that neither of us have watched yet. But I think the main if only purpose for us to meet is to catch up. We have not really sat down and talked in ages. So a chat over coffee may be preferable. Nads will only be free next week as she has been fully booked this week. So I get to do my article and meet Nads next week. btw did you know that Nadia does not like her name shortened to nad?So the 's' at the end of it would theoretically make me safe from her scratching my eyes out.

Anyone got any career suggestions for me? If I quit AVA what could I do? I been thinking of opening a pet shop. Maybe I could do a little research on what it would take to open one. You know paper work,licences and permits and stuff. Also been toying around with doing some freelance *blank* (to be filled in later). The problem with being me is that there are so many things that I love and I am not qualified to do them! Maybe I could migrate someplace or go study full-time. So many possibilities ....
