the age old question: Why did the chicken cross the road?

GEORGE W. BUSH
To search for Weapons of Mass Destruction.

BILL GATES
To buy a copy of Microsoft’s latest release: Chicken XP, which not only crosses roads, but lays eggs, makes omelettes and fries itself. Oh, and it can also download media files off the Internet.

THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD
The chicken crossed over to learn about how Singapore is a plug and play business infrastructure that is made increasingly easy and efficient thanks to its growing number of Free Trade Agreements and a government that is extremely responsive to the private sector. The global chicken sector will be especially interested to learn how Singapore is positioning itself as a regional poultry hub with its new business park, ‘Chickenopolis’.

SIMON COWELL
Well, I’m not surprised it did after its performance. I’m sorry, but it was so horrible, it should stay on the other side.

DR. CHEE SOON JUAN
It had to make a living somehow, and due to political discrimination, just couldn’t get a decent job if it stayed on that side of the road.

WARDEN, ABU GHRAIB PRISON, IRAQ
Let me strip the chicken, tie electrical wire to its feathers and put a bag over its head and maybe it’ll tell us.

SINGTEL
It made an honest mistake.

TAUFIK BATISAH
To avoid having to make a horrible music video.

THE REMAKING SINGAPORE COMMITTEE
We will convene several sub-committees and submit a report to you in a year.

SINGAPORE POOLS
Bet you it’ll cross back.

SENIOR MINISTER GOH CHOK TONG
It’s a quitter.

COLONEL SANDERS
I missed one, meh?

COMMISSIONER, TRAFFIC POLICE
We are still investigating why didn’t it use the overhead bridge like it should have.

SIGMUND FREUD
The fact that you are at all concerned about chickens crossing the road suggests you have deep underlying sexual insecurities.

MOSES LIM
(Burp!) What chicken? Where got chicken?

THE P.A.P.
To reach out to the younger generation of chicks and involve them in the preservation of our nest egg.

THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
To escape the bird flu, lah! Arbuthen?

ROOSTER ROMANCE

This year, Valentine’s Day happens to coincide with Chinese New Year. To help you minimize the number of, ahem, cockups in your romantic endeavours I am pleased to provide you with a list of dating dos and don’ts for the Year of the Rooster:

1. Just because it’s the Year of the Rooster doesn’t mean it’s okay to refer to women as “Chicks”.

2. If you wish to get “laid”, careful not to get egg on your face.

3. Kindly confine your comments about breasts or legs to your visits to KFC.

4. And while we’re on the subject, if you’re looking to ‘spice’ up your romance: beware the white man. The man with the white hair, white moustache and white beard wearing the all-white suit, that is. His secret blend of herbs and spices may be too much for your liking.

5. Music may be the food of love, but be careful not to talk cock sing song too much.

6. As in the barnyard, chicks aren’t necessarily impressed by big cockerels alone.

7. Choose your mate carefully. This year there’s a high chance of becoming henpecked.

8. If getting married, stick to “I do”. No need to kay kiang and say, “I cockadoodle do.”

9. The old adage stays true: “the early bird catches the worm.” But make sure you actually want a worm in the first place. Ee-yurr.

10. Have courage! It doesn’t pay to be chicken, even in the Year of the Rooster.

11. If all else fails, go Geylang to find a “kway”, lor.

the day that could

Was kinda sucky(but not as bad as monday) at work today. Sometime I wish I was back in school again.Working life ain't that much fun. Today felt more like a Monday than anything which is not a good sign. The minutes seem to pass by ever so slowly. On a brighter note we had a small lunch celebration for Poh today at McDonald's. Hasli,Ko Koh, Foo, Lyn, Ana,me and of course Poh went. Would be rather pointless if Poh did not attend. Our plan was to go to KFC but the place was packed with people with pretty much the same intentions. Hasli got himself squirted with chillie sauce by a group of boys from his former alma mater. He it all over the back of his WHITE shirt,arms and back of his jeans. In the end I had to lend him one of my t-shirts to wear (and yes...it fitted rather snugly).

After work Hasli and I headed to town to look for my SD Card and to get a spare battery for my camera among others. Many of the shops at Peninsula Plaza and Funan were closed for the new years but we still managed to find a few possibles shops with good deals.Probably will go again on Tuesday or whenever to see if East Gear and Cathay Photo can match the deals we found.

After our window shopping had been done we tried to come up with what to do for dinner. We waited awhile downstairs as Agnes and Christine joined us for a while as Agnes was looking for some scores from Cristofori. Agnes still owes me a song...
After that we (the ladies and us)parted ways.

Hasli and I decided to go to our old stomping ground Adam Road Hawker Centre for dinner. As I always say: growing boys need to eat!

Hasli had mee goreng and I had roti john. I did not feel up to having a big dinner tonight. For some reason my roti john took like almost forever to arrive although they were ordered from the same stall at the same time. As usual we both had teh halias.

After dinner we got back to the car and I sent Hasli home. I then went home for a bit.

Around 10-ish I got prepared to go to the airport to send Nadia off to Perth. I got there slightly before 11. Only Nads,Shakira(!) and her aunt were there. Later Natt and the parents joined us. I was fully expecting more people to be there but it ended up I was the only non-family member there. But that did not really matter anyway. Of all the times Nadia has gone off and I was not there to see her off, this kind of makes up for it in a way.

After checking in their luggage we went over to the Swensen's for ice cream. Let me just say the service staff there were rather incompetent and rude to say the least. I am usually quite pleased with the service I get at Swensen's but this time it was sub-par. They got some orders mixed up and were large unhelpful and stuff. Nads had enough when we had paid the bill to tell the supervisor to send the staff for some customer service training. Of course we felt she could have been a little more diplomatic in doing it, but the fact remains that the service standards left something to be desired.

After that we adjourned to the Departure area near the bookshops and Coffee Bean where we hung around the benches there. Down at the McDonald's were spied a hideous looking merlion made out of french fries packets. It was a monstrosity. I will post the pictures I took with my phone if ever I have a chance.

When it was edging closer to boarding time, Nadia and her mum went in..

As her family was there I did not get a hug from Nadia *big humph*
Although Nadia did say I could claim my..ermmm...hug...from Natt later. Too bad by the time I got her message I was already in my car on the ECP.
I will not forget! :P

Then took another drive along what is fast becoming my favourite expressway,the Tampines Expressway, home with the radio up and the windows down.

the one with the expoundings about love

I know now what I must do.
At least I think I know but I am not sure.
It may take a while, but eventually I will know.
I think.
Maybe not.
How does one ever know if a person is right for you?
Is there some kind of formulae that ascertains the suitability of 2 people for one another?
Is it too early or is it too late?
Has it happened too fast that I did not realise it till it was too late to go back?
Or have I just experienced love at second sight?
Only time will tell the heart what to feel.
Till the day comes when I know for sure, I wish and hope that everyday be as beautiful as the moments we shared.
I do not know what you you see in me but whatever it is I will give you more.
For as many as the number of stars that cross the sky,
to the innumerable grains of sand that line the shore,
so shall our love be.
Forever.
...and ever.

One Thing

Restless tonight
Cause I wasted the light
Between both these times
I drew a really thin line
It’s nothing I planned
And not that I can
But you should be mine
Across that line

If I traded it all
If I gave it all away for one thing
Just for one thing
If I sorted it out
If I knew all about this one thing
Wouldn’t that be something

I promise I might
Not walk on by
Maybe next time
But not this time

Even though I know
I don’t want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds

down by the water's edge

Was supposed to the MacRitchie Tree Top Walk today but Lisa and Hasli pulled out at the last minute. Which was good in the end cos I was knackered from my day at the zoo yesterday and welcomed the chance to sleep in later.

Alas all was not lost as I headed over to Agnes's place for lunch.Gotta meet her parent's and sister.The sister in particular had that toothy grin when we were introduced. Must be the novelty of having a guy come over. kekeke.

I especially enjoyed the sea cucumber Agnes's mum cooked. The meal was good overall.

After lunch I sat in the living room a bit before adjourning to Agnes's room for some private time where she played a few keys on her piano. I wanna hear it again when she masters Minuete in g minor (if my memory serves me correctly).

After that we said our goodbyes and headed over to my place. Agnes got to meet my family(including my parents... lol). Camou and Agnes got along swell which was a relief on so many levels. Mum seems to like Agnes.Or so it seems. Maybe she was just happy for me.

I returned the favour and showed Agnes my room. She seemed to like it. She is welcomed anytime.

After that the 3 of us (Agnes, camou and I) headed to Sentosa.

It was kinda crowded on Sentosa but we managed to find a parking space and a nice spot under the coconut trees by the beach at Tanjong Beach. We had great fun cavorting on the sand and the water until tragedy struck. Apparently while playing a dog, a collie, joined in our play and got its front paw sprained. After that we just kinda hung around our spot in the shade for the most part. It was an unfortunate accident, but one that could have been avoided if the owners had showed better control of his dog instead of letting it have a free run of the beach. Fortunately the poor dog got back full use of his limbs after some massage and rest.*crowd goes wild*

Agnes and I also were very amused by two guys a way off from us doing what seems like bodybuilding poses/pilates/yoga/warm-up routine. It was hilarious. No idea what those guys were thinking. My hunch is they were gays or something.

After having a fun at the beach we headed back to the car. I drove to West Coast Park McDonald's where we ordered drive thru and then headed to Labrador Park. Agnes seemed to enjoy Labrador Park especially the shimmering lights of Jurong Island in the distance in the dark of night. We spent time exploring the jetty and the lighthouse area fronting Fort Siloso. And Camou was uncharacteristically well behaved today. Except for that one time he kicked sand in my face when he charged aggressively at the afore mentioned collie when it came a little too close for comfort, he was a good boy today.

After a bit, I sent Agnes back home but did not walk her up to her door on account of Camou. It was a good day and Camou and I agree Agnes is great. Woof!

Had another enjoyable drive home with the music blaring and the windows down.

The Blog Post With Titles

People who can call me 'Bro'
====================

Only 3 women can call me 'bro' in this world besides my natural siblings. I do not use the term 'sister' loosely either.
And the 3 are:

Nadia
~~~~~
My littlest sis.
(And by natural extention her sister Natt. But not quite also. Cos I think Natt falls into a whole other category.*wink wink*)
Lyn
~~~
My beloved sis.

And no, I do not consider May a sister of mine although she does call me that.Which is also the reason for me posting this.

Daphne
~~~~~~
My Ah Jie.
Elefunt Princess
===========
It seems like Natt and I do not meet up at all without 'a third party'. In the zoo days it was always with Michelle in tow. And likewise also with Nadia lately.
So I resolve to meet up with her often after Nadia is gone back to Perth. Lotsa cool stuff we can do together. It is strange though that we do not really know one another all that well, despite knowing her longer than Nadia. Something to rectify.
Zoo Junkies
========
Had a great day at the zoo with Nadia.Got a chance to do lotsa stuff which I love to do. Not many people appreciate the zoo in the same manner as we do which made today especially special (if that makes any sense). Most people just complain about the heat and the mosquitoes and get impatient if I spend more than 5 minutes at any one enclosure,but not today. Got to indulge in (almost) all the zoo at a leisurely pace. Too bad the camera batteries gave out on me otherwise it woulda been a perfect day zoo-wise.
Will blog about it at length and post the pics probably tomorrow.
MacRitchie Tree Top Walk
===================
Tomorrows trip is officially off. Hasli's toe is bleeding. Lisa has a backache and is feeling under the weather. No one else can make it. So it is me by my lonesome.
The silver lining is that I will be able to sleep in late tomorrow and may even be able to meet up with Agnes later in the day. Yippie! Although she claims that she just wants to see Tiny! *Humph*
Sunday plans
==========
Going to Agnes's church to watch a performance in the morning where her mum is one of the performers.
Later in the afternoon gonna pick up Faith and gonna head to church.
Saturday plans
=============
Going to Esoof's sons wedding in JB in the evening. Too bad the people I asked declined my invite. *pout*
Friday plans
===========
Thinking of going to the airport to send Nad's off at night. Got a feeling there is something or someone I forgot here. Hmmm....
Zoo in no particular order.
I'm ready
I'm ready for the gridlock
I'm ready...to take it to the street
I'm ready for the shuffle
Ready for the deal
Ready to let go of the steering wheel
I'm ready
Ready for the crush
Time is a train
Makes the future the past
Leaves you standing in the station
Your face pressed up against the glass
Started the day off with me driving over to pick up Nadia from her place. We then drove down to Prata Point for breakfast. Nadia had cheese plaster (a special order not on the menu I might add) and I had 3 kosong.I drank teh halia while nads had lemon barley.
After brekkie, we headed down to the zoo. Yippie! *does cartwheels*
There was a CNY performance on at the entrance plaza.Lion dances and stuff. We took some pictures there.
We then went in the zoo proper. It was already quite crowded by then but wemanaged to make our rounds. One highlight was the so-called elephant painting session at the Elephants of Asia exhibit. We rushed there as we had wanted to see it being done. Really nice pieces. The art works that is!
What I really enjoyed about going to the zoo with nadia was that she and I share the same interests and do not mind spending time at each exhibit. Normally when I bring guest to the zoo they tend to rush through it spending at most 3 minutes at each one . As for me, I just love to sit in front of an enclosure and just watch the animals going through their day. You never can tell when or what they are gonna do something. At least I know who to call if ever I wanna just 'chill' at the zoo.
Another highlight for me was Rohan. Although we had both been at the zoo at the same time when I was there we had not really spoken until today. He seems like a really nice, personable guy. No wonder the girls love him. I also really enjoyed his presentation of The Creatures of the Night show at the Night Safari. It was laugh out loud hilarious. Not to mention he was under the weather which makes it all the more commendable. I told him so after the show but he said I was only being diplomatic.
Nadia and I also had a 'deep' discussion whilst at the kangaroo exhibit pertaining to kangaroo testes and mating positions. So now I helpfully got some pictures of them Roo's doing the deed:
Interesting facts: The male’s penis is prehensile so it can get around the female’s large tail. Copulation lasts up to fifteen minutes. Way to go Joe!
More interesting facts: Male kangaroos have forked penises, and their testicles lie in the front of their penis, not the back like most every other mammal. So how does a willing female kangaroo accomindate such a weird penis? Turns out female kangaroos have two uteri and two vaginas! They get to double their pleasure, not to mention doubling their fun!
I love the new show area used for the Creatures of the Night Show. It looks better and seats more than the crappy old one at the NS entrance.
Nadia and I went out to the zoo entrance plaza as we waited for natt to come out. Ordered drinks from KFC and sat down near the Ben & Jerry's. Later on Natt joined us and we had another round of drinks and also some cheese fries and a wrap.
After that we walked over to the NS to meet Rohan and get the complimentary pass from the reception for my car.
Took lotsa pictures, we both did. Unfortunately our batteries were unable to last the course otherwise we woulda taken more pictures.
We got to the zoo around 10.30 am and left around 6+.Amazingly we did not complete the entire zoo. If I am not wrong we missed the Childrens World as well as the various feedings and the 2.30 animal show. Which only goes to show how long we need to explore the entire zoo and do all the stuff we like to do.
Managed to get some good pictures as well as some utterly horrible ones. Coming to think of it I do not have a picture of the 3 of us together!
Back to Roos. They have such long dangly balls! Saw one actually lick his own. I could not do that. Also saw a Malayan Sunbear do the same thing.
They must be mating like rabbits. everytime I cum..err...come...they seems to have even more roos. I estimate at least 70 roos in the enclosure.
Lotsa babies too.saw baby rhinos.baby chimps.babies everywhere. looks like some singaporeans are really taking the governments call to procreate seriously.maybe the government should adopt some animals as mascots for their pro-family campaigns.
After NS sent the gals home.
Their dad claims he does not know who I am. I even sat in his car once not to mention the numerous times we met outside the zoo entrance when he came by to pick the gals up.
The area around the gibbons clogged up with water hyacinth's.looks like a field on the water's surface. wonder if any animals tried to walk on it thinking it to be solid ground. Even saw a duck stranded in the middle of the pond surrounded by the plants. Poor duck. Wonder if he managed to get out in the end.
Chinese New Year's Eve blues
Had to work today for half a day.Just like last year. Or the year before. Or the year before. Or the year..(you get the picture). No matter how many times you go through this CNY eve ritual it still amounts to a pile of crap. I know there is a business to run and AVA needs to safeguard Singapore... yadda... yadda.. yadda... but still, it ends up feeling like you are working on a Sunday. You do not feel like working and would rather be at home doing something more meaningful but are stuck in the office just because. Maybe PRB is the exception to the norm, but couldn't they like make it less painful to be at the office? Like have an office party or organise some activities for staff in the way of staff welfare. Just my two cents worth.
After work I sent Ana and Mrs Soh to Khatib MRT before heading to Plaza Singapura. I left the office earlier so I managed to get there earlier than scheduled. I walked around PS as Agnes was a bit held up by human traffic heading towards home. She arrived in no time and we then had to finally decide on lunch. Agnes had a taste for Long John Silver's (read into that what you will @Hasli),so that is where we went. I had the combo meal with chicken,fish and shrimp and my lovely date for the day had a chicken combo meal. As per normal, she did not quite finish her portion and there were some fries leftover. After that we walked around PS. I was looking for one of them mosaic jig saw puzzles with a matching frame to boot. The shop we went to only had the puzzle but did not sell any frames for it. Perhaps I will go down to the jigsaw shop at Suntec this weekend after service to look for it then. We also went looking for a partner for Tiny (the lovable wawa on my dashboard). Agnes has developed quite an attachment to Tiny it seems. She always cuddle and strokes the little fella whenever she rides in my car.
We explored the Times Bookshop among others before heading up to the theatre for our movie. We were gonna catch Constantine. Seems like Agnes has a thing for Keanu Reeves. She could not stop gushing about how handsome he was after the movie was done.* groan*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
REVIEW

Constantine is based on the DC comic of the same name. The premise is of John Constantine who once died 'for 2 minutes'.So he literally went to hell and back. So the story goes that he goes around banishing half-lifes (demons that possess human hosts) to hell while all the while knowing that ultimately he will have to return to his fiery fate some day.

I was kinda skeptical of Keanu in the title role. But somehow he managed to make it work. Kinda like Neo in the Matrix Trilogy. He made a believable Constantine and was spot on with his one-liners most times. However Rachel Weisz was not particularly good in her role. And it seemed like the cameraman-guy was really into her boobs or something as random shots zoomed in on Rachel's bosom. Not that I am complaining. Just that they shoulda been mentioned in the credits or something for the pivotal role they played.
The effects were alright if a little reminiscient of the Matrix at times. The plot was rather convoluted to say the least. I guess if one is familiar with the christian symbolism or watched exorcism movies like say..err...The Exorcist, would get a hang of all the religious references and stuff that pervade the film.
The villain of the piece,Lucifer, and the Archangel Gabrielle were particularly miscast. I never seen such a pudgy Lucifer. He looked like something out of a Francis Ford Coppola movie than the human incarnation of the Devil himself. As for Gabriel (or should it be Gabrielle?) was played by a woman which kinda made Gabriel look,well...wimpy. These were characters that shoulda been portrayed to showcase their powers to influence humankind but ended up looking like a mafia boss and a fairy respectively.Hmph!

~~~~~~~~
After the movie we went to check out the Baker's Inn for some cakes but they were already closed for the day,today being CNY eve.
So Agnes and I walked down to Taka to check out the stuff that Nads wanted me to buy. Unfortunately Kinokuniya was closed too for CNY eve. I called Nads up to let her know what has transpired and told her they only open on Friday again. Heard what seemed like wailing on her side but I think it is probably nothing.
We then walked back to PS again where I sent Agnes home for her Reunion Dinner.
Do hope to see her again either tomorrow or Thursday. We did not really get to say or do much today, but we can make up for it next time.
new pictures are up
I have posted pictures of most of the animals in my house with the exception of Halia...and err... Beethooven......and my tortoises...and....
Coming to think of it, the pictures are only of Camou, Monk, UJ and Poison.
go here
demonised by my own
troubled.maybe not.
Just feel that people should not pass judgement on a person they have never talked to or even know all that well to begin with.
I am quite close to Lyn and also to a certain extent her sister,May. I have not done anything to either of them for which I should be ashamed of. I have always treated them with dignity and respect. I have never taken advantage of their trust in me. No not even once. Which is why I do not understand why their parents disapprove of me so much. What have I done to deserve to be treated like some pariah off the street? They still adhere to their old fashioned principles which held no water back in the day let alone now in 2005.
I do not have to answer to anyone for the company I keep. They expect me to treat them with respect when they do not even bother to show me any. They may think I am a playboy, a casanova, arrogant, proud, aloof or an ill-bred. That is their perception and not based on any fact. I do not have to answer to them or anyone who I go out with, who I attend church with or why I do not bother to strike up a conversation with them whenever we meet perchance.
I do not sleep around. I do not lead girls on. For that matter I have always conducted myself as best I know how to do.
It is too bad they cannot see that.
..too bad for them...
...shame on you!
refrains of a thoughtless mind
Superbowl is upon us once more, and now nipples and pigskins have become synonymous due to the wardrobe malfunction of the 2004 editions half time show.
for a reflection of the year past go here
funny stuff that!
But was a split second of nipple really such an outrage? I mean we all have nipples. Some of us even have more than 2. It was not even a bad looking nipple.Hell.. it belonged to Michael's kid sister,dammit! In the wake of Nipplegate it seems like the entire entertainment industry underwent examination and people were fined, network content was re-examined and the whole world went bonkers. Shows had to change their names and award shows had to be edited.
On a lighter note Faith left her phone somewhere and was without it since friday.As a result we could not arrange for church today and her whole weekenbd was 'ruined'.Just goes to show how much we have come to depend on our handphones. We feel so lost with our mobiles that sometimes it is crazy. On more than one occasion I have rushed home just to pick up my phone or just to recharge it when the batt was low. I wonder how long most of us can go without our mobile phones?
Camou passed his Temperament Test today.so now he can go to the dog run at bishan.yippie! Not so yippie though is that he is smaller than most other dogs and was hence bullied today by the other bigger,stronger and faster dogs.poor camou. such a tyrant in the home. made to eat humble pie today. considering bringing him to meet other wawas next weekend. maybe that would be better for him.
Ate a big lunch at dunlop street near serangoon rd.actually wanted to eat the wonderful thosai but they din serve that for lunch. *burp* ended up eating rice with fish, vege,chicken and mutton. sedap!
Is it sunday already? darn why do weekends pass so fast? :(
random thinkings
The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has alerted its plant traders about the seriousness of the problem associated with fire ants.
Hmm...looks like more work and 'vigilance' will be required from me from now on due to the hoo-haa.
*Man U beat Arsenal 4-2 at Higbury of all places. Woe betide us. The end is nigh!
Not only have Man U done the double over Arsenal this season, they have also done the same over perennial rivals Liverpool.First time they ever done that in living memory. Now that is scary!
I got a letter from the Elections Department informing me that I have been duly selected to serve as a Counting Assistant in the upcoming elections.
At the end they had this to say;
The conduct of elections is a national responsibility entrusted to the public service in which every election official has an important part to play. I have no doubt you will find your involvement in this democratic process a memorable and rewarding experience.
*cough cough*
Valentine's day is coming up.Wonder what I shall do to commemorate the day of overspending and faux love?
Gonna go to the zoo with nads on the first day of new year. Gonna be fun what manner of deceit we shalt concoct over their feeble minds.
Next day gonna go MacRitchie with Lisa and hopefully Hasli. Too bad Lyn,Poh and Faezah can't make it though. We will just have to rough it and go on without them.
Lisa will not be joining me for Esoof's sons wedding on the 12th. She thinks it will be awkward and that people might think we are a couple. *pout*
Gonna go for Camou's temperament test tomorrow if all goes well. Camou recently had some treatment done on his troubled tail and I am not sure if he is up to the task. But you will never know unless you try. He seems back to normal today...
Faith has not got back to me about whether she is joining me for service tomorrow. Guess I will only know tomorrow at the earliest...
Gotta get me the new soccer game on XBox, Winning Eleven 8 International™. Seems like a sure fire hit to me. Yippie... more vegetating infront of my console in the coming weeks!
Got my letter from my unit dutifully informing me I have a BIT on 29th September for get this....ONE WHOLE DAY! I am really gonna miss my loved ones and pets.Imagine 1 whole darn day....*mumbles pathetically to himself*
Earlier today downloaded new MP3's to my phone. Now Metallica's Enter Sandman alerts me when I get SMSes and Eminem's Lose Yourself informs me of incoming calls.And honestly it is not as 'beng' as it sounds in writing.
My tetras seem to get hungry faster and actively search for food now. Guess that there is greater hunger in numbers. Cos I used to remember them as peaceful,slow moving fish but now they resemble goldfish,the blobs of the fish tank, in feeding habits. For the record there are now over 70 tetra crammed into my 2ft tank.
I remember I still have that heart shaped box of chocolates from last Valentines day that is still uneaten. Well past the expiry date last I checked...
I just love the Mr bean bear Lyn gave me for xmas. it is so cute hanging up there above my CD rack.Only wonder what possessed her to get it for me. She said when she saw it in the shop she 'just knew that she had to get it for me'.
Finally brought that pack of individual breakfast cereals into the house that was in my boot. Now the idea is to snack on them when I get hungry in front of my PC on one of my all-nighters. (along with my packs/cups of instant noodles)
Next week gonna be a short week ,what with the CNY holidays and all that it entails.
Made a wager with Agnes that the first between us to get attached would give the other a treat to sharks fin at a reknowned restaurant (with an interesting disclaimer that only she and I know)*wink wink*
Gotta get me some more SD cards for my phone and camera,as well as an extra battery for my camera. Cannot afford to run out like it did the other day at Sentosa.
Gotta go open up an account with DBS or one of the other local banks and perhaps maybe also get a credit card to go along with it!
I need a holiday.Someone please help!
Gotta clear out my shoe cabinet. Seems like all the footwear I use are under my bed which kinda defeats the purpose of a 'shoe cabinet'. Really ...it does.
My prayer for 2005:
i) a girlfriend
ii) a continental car
