been noticing Tuffy and Lobang since Lollie's death. both of them do not look too well. in Lobang's case it is probably related to mites, as i have observed her scratching and biting, especially at her leg areas. she also has sore hocks which are attributed to her small cage in all likelihood. so i will have to move her to a bigger cage soon, as she has hardly any place to hop around in her cage presently.
Tuffy on the other hand will probably have to see a vet soon. she is grossly underweight, has sore hocks, and like Lobang is seen to bite and scratch herself. as such she has bare patches around her feet and legs. but worst still she is immobile. she does not seem willing to move around or eat much.she even has this bare patch round about her right eye, where you can see the sore skin underneath as the fur in that area has been totally stripped bare.
will probably try to book an appointment with Dr Grace for this thursday or saturday.

on saturday agnes and myself went about Sungei Kadut area looking for furniture. after much driving, walking and looking we managed to secure:

- a 3 seater L-shaped sofa
- extra covers for the above
- a coffee table
- a tv console
- a dining set (table + 4 chairs)

it was a tiring day out,especially for my dear wife, and the rain did not help matters. but at least we managed to settle much of what we needed for the house ahead of the renovations. so almost everything is in place for when the house is ready. we may go back there again to buy closets and cabinets and other miscellaneous stuff when the time is ripe.

I do not know how much longer Sunny can go on. he seems to be slow in accelerating these few days. but the soonest i can go view cars with agnes is on saturday. although i may drop by thomson used car centre and turf city if i can in the next few days if i find myself in the areas.
we are looking for a family car not unlike sunny now. so it will in all probability be a 4 door sedan or at the least a hatchback. i am itching for a BMW or a wagon/SUV/MPV but we will have to wait and see what is available. price is the main consideration as well as the type of car loan we can get. not sure about $0 drive-away deals. if not then we will have to consider how much we willing to pay. at our last spoke, agnes indicated that she will not not be contributing to the new car, so it looks like I will have to go it alone this time.


will be going up to Ipoh with aggie & family next week. we will be taking the coach up north from Golden Mile on thursday night. as i am working that day, i will go home immediately after work and then head there after dinner. still thinking whether to go to Golden Mile myself or to meet the family at bedok and go together.perhaps i can ask my folks for their assistance on thursday to send me to Beach Road and maybe even help out the Chin's since the car should be big enough for 7. not too sure if all the luggage can fit in though.

have red splotches all over my chest and tummy areas. even my arms have them. they itch sometimes. i think it was some kinda skin allergy after i cleaned the bunny cages on sunday. been applying talcum powder,calamine lotion and Vaseline. hopefully it will subside soon...

meeting mona on thursday. the 2nd time she postponed. but at least she has valid reasons for doing so. and as mona said, we will start renovations next monday (31st March). and renovations will take about a month. we had scheduled some of the furniture to come on the 10th of May. and by the looks of things we should be able to get things done on schedule. gotta arrange also with the bed people and with Courts in regards to their deliveries.
