For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Mimi jus gave birth to 4 more pups. Really gotta admire her. This is her fourth litter since I got her. Her 5 recently weaned pups are going to new homes.
The other hammies have been re-housed together. So currently Buffy(or Lim's depending on who you ask)pups are currently put together with adults. Rather the male is with his dad and uncle. And the mum now lives with her 2 daughters. As usual the guys bickered in the beginning but seem to be becoming close frens. On the other hand the females are still at war as is the case with females of any species. Luckily their altercations have been more vocal than physical.
Work was crap the last week or so. Sin and Her Highness been at loggerheads over some small matter. Since then it escalated and now they dun even talk. So I act as a sort of intermediary between the 2 of them. So stubborn the 2 of them. Almost makes me look like the sensible one in all of this.
As you may know by now, I redid my room furniture.
Agnes been busy at school with her experiments. We hardly have time as we used to. I been helping out at her lab mainly scrapping and cleaning the equipment. But it seems the work just never ends. Agnes is still at school as I write this. She feels burnt out, and so do I. Been feeling more tired than usual lately. Maybe it has something to do with all the over-time.
Bought a new touch dimmer lamp.Been wanting to get one for a while now, but was discouraged by the high prices. I was at the NTUC Lifestyle at Sembawang the other day and saw it for sale at $22. Seemed like a good deal . At the POS the price ringed up to $18.50. Yayyy!! After much deliberation from the aunties behind the counter they concluded that it must be on sale hence the lower price from that which was stated.Double Yayyyyyy!!
This month has been laden with lots of irregular expenses. Mainly due to the recent car repairs and the deposit for my Israel trip. Both of those cut a huge chunk out of my bonus. Looks like I gotta be a bit more careful on my expenditure til November. I have already changed to a lower grade fuel for Sunny.
But all these are temporary until my Israel trip is confirmed. The saving for our home and wedding....bwaahahaaaa....
Agnes has another article for me to translate from bahasa Indonesia to English as I alluded to in my last post. Progress has been slow as I have to do it word by word. Hopefully Agnes does not need it so urgently. Besides, Agnes dutifully informedme the other day that she has another article for me to decipher after I am done with the one I am working on.
I can't believe National Day is nearly upon us once more. Does not seem that long ago that we celebrated Singapore's 40th birthday. This years song is sung by Kaira Gong. No idea who she is but she sure has a great voice. Wonder what Agnes and I can do that day.
We finally rounded up the kittens on the roof. Got 3 of them, although there were initially 4 according to Noel. No idea where the other kitten went. The dad, the ever cheery, halia was driven out the front dorr. And the mum is now in the cage with her kids. In a way I am glad that we have gotten rid of the 'refugees' in our house. Halia and Jadi have not really been our pets although they live under our roof. They run away whenever any of us approach, and even hiss and spit at us. Stupid felines!! No idea what is gonna happen to the mum and kittens when the SPCA take them away. Seeing as it is near impossible to re-home them due to their anti-social behavior and aggression, I think they may be euthanised. A pity cos one of the kittens seems rather cute and nice.
