sinning wilfully

seems like a landslide of stuff to put up all of a sudden. another good article by a dear brother....

Here is another writting that was found on the web. Those who 'sin wilfully'
Hebrews 10:26-3026 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Christians have used this passage to say that if a Christian sins wilfully, he will lose his salvation. If you think about it, most of the sins that we commit after we are saved are wilful sins! We know that we should not do it, yet we choose to do it. Does that mean that the majority of Christians are on their way to hell? The suggestion itself is ridiculous.
Christians have also used this passage to say that if a Christian keeps sinning, he will lose his salvation. In the first place, a Christian does not keep sinning or live a lifestyle of sin. Paul made it clear when he said, "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?" (Romans 6:1-2)
So if the wilful sin here has nothing to do with a Christian sinning today, albeit wilfully, what is it then?
As explained,Hebrews is written mainly to the believing and unbelieving Jews. Under the old covenant of law, the priests had to offer animal sacrifices for the sins of the Israelites year after year because the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins (Hebrews 10:4), but only cover their sins until the next sacrifice. That is why these animal sacrifices could not make the offerers perfect (Hebrews 10:1). Neither could they clear the offerers' consciousness of sins. In fact, they reminded them of their sins (Hebrews 10:3), causing them to have a sin consciousness or what the Bible calls an "evil conscience" (Hebrews 10:22).
But now that the true Lamb of God has come and taken away their sins (John 1:29) once for all (Hebrews 7:27) through one perfect sacrifice of Himself (Hebrews 10:12) to end all animal sacrifices, if the Jews continue to reject the Christ, "there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins" (verse 26). Christ is it. If they reject Him as their sacrifice for sins, there is no other sacrifice for sins that they can turn to. The system of animal sacrifices has ended or expired. Christ is not going to come down to die for them again. Neither does God the Father have a "plan B" of some sort. Christ is it!
So the wilful sin of the Jews here would be to reject their Messiah. It would be wilful because they would be rejecting Christ "after we have received knowledge of the truth" (verse 26). So there were many Jews who rejected the Christ after the truth of the gospel was preached to them. And the Jews who did this "trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace" (verse 29).
To count the blood a "common thing" is to put the eternal blood of the Son of God on the same level as the temporal blood of animals. To insult the Spirit of grace is to slap God's hand of grace, to reject the covenant of grace, to reject the Holy Spirit, and to go back under law, works and sacrifices.
This was the unpardonable, wilful sin of many of the unbelieving Jews. And the result was "a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries" (verse 27). Did such a terrible judgment come to pass? Yes, their temple in Jerusalem was burned and utterly destroyed by the Romans in AD70.
Jewish historian Flavius Josephus records that 1,100,000 Jews were killed in Jerusalem and that some 97,000 others were taken as slaves into captivity. It has been estimated that some 1,337,490 Jews in Jerusalem (and in the regions adjacent to Judea) died -- by famine, by the sword, by burning and by crucifixion (Wars 6.9.3-4). Some scholars believe that even these figures are too conservative. In fact, Josephus himself expressed the view that the suffering of this holocaust exceeded anything known to man previously (Wars, Preface, 4; 9.4).
On the other hand, the Christians who were in Jerusalem at the time recognised the assault upon the city by Cestius Gallus as the fulfillment of the words of their Lord: "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place' (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." (Matthew 24:15-16). It is said that every Christian in the city fled. Most of them went to Pella in Decapolis, as they had been instructed.
So the author of Hebrews, which I believe is Paul, was addressing his fellow Jewish brothers, both the believing and the unbelieving. For those who refused to believe in Jesus, it was a warning. For those who believed, it was an exhortation to hold on their faith and not "draw back" (Hebrews 10:38). This does not mean that many of the believing Jews drew back by renouncing their faith and thus lost their salvation. The passage does not say that. In fact, Paul said, "But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul." (Hebrews 10:39)

lost salvation?

I got this in the mail from a dear brother and I felt it's good to post it here.

A Christian cannot lose his salvation

First and foremost, we are talking about true-blue, born-again Christians. This statement, however, leads to a problem: How do we know if someone is truly born of God?
In some cases, it is really hard to tell and only God would know. Also, we must not expect "overnight" changes in the person and underestimate the work of the Holy Spirit in his life. We only need to ask ourselves how long we took to "produce fruit" to remember our own stubbiness and our Lord's grace and patience. That said, let's look at simple scriptures that clearly support eternal security.
It is comforting to note that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit all "play a part" in keeping us saved. We can call this "triply secure"!
The Father...
John 10:29 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
The Son...
John 10:28 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
A Christian might argue that he can "snatch" himself out of his Father's hand by wilfully renouncing Christ. But he forgets that "no one" in John 10:28,29 includes him too.
The KJV translates it as "no man". Notice that "man" here is italicised. This means that the word was added by the translators -- "man" is not in the original Greek text.
So, a fuller meaning of the verse is actually "nothing can snatch them out of my hand" -- be it man, demons or angels! This comforting thought is also supported by Romans 8:38,39.
Furthermore, Jesus said, "I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish." Common spiritual sense tells us that "eternal life" is not "eternal" if it can be cut off at some point.
Also, "never" simply means "never". It can't get any simpler than that! God's truths are always simple, and doctrines should be built on simple, clear-cut, scriptures such as this one, not on obscure passages.
Speaking of eternal life, it is given to us by God the moment we are born again. Eternal life does not begin after we die physically. As long as we have Christ in us or "believe in the name of the Son of God", we have eternal life -- we are not waiting to get it someday.
1 John 5:12 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
The Holy Spirit...
2 Corinthians 1:22 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Ephesians 1:13 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
Ephesians 4:30 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
The Holy Spirit in us is God's sonship seal and guarantee to us. Can God's ownership seal be broken? Surely not. The Holy Spirit is also a deposit placed in our hearts by God. This means that God is coming back to claim what belongs to Him!
By the way, God does not have to guarantee us anything -- His word alone is sufficient for He cannot lie (1 Samuel 15:29, Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18). Yet, He gives us this double assurance of guaranteed salvation!

Can sinning cause us to lose it?
The answer lies in this verse:
Romans 5:1919 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
Man is a sinner because of what Adam had done, not because he sins -- he sins because he has inherited Adam's sinful nature.
Likewise, a Christian is righteous because of what Jesus Christ had done on the cross, not because he does good -- he does good because Christ is in him.
When we were sinners, our good deeds could not undo what Adam had done and make us righteous. Similarly, now that we are righteous, our bad deeds or sins cannot undo what Christ had done and make us unrighteous!
If we believe that the former is impossible but the latter, possible, then we are saying that:
• Adam's work was more effective than Christ's, when the opposite is true (Romans 5:15).
• Our sinning is more powerful than the perfect work and blood of Christ.
• The blood of bulls and goats in the Old Testament is more "potent" than the blood of Christ, since the former could atone for the sins of Israel for one whole year, but that the latter loses its cleansing effect the moment we sin.
Nature itself teaches us that once a caterpillar has transformed into a butterfly ("born-again" ), even if it lands on a rubbish heap ("falls into sin") rather than flowers, it cannot change back into a caterpillar. Likewise, a man cannot be physically "unborn", neither can his spirit that has been born of God.
Taking the analogy further, the butterfly will not remain on the rubbish heap. Its nature is not to remain on smelly refuse. It will leave, sooner or later, for the fields of fragrant flowers. Likewise, a Christian cannot keep on sinning. It is not in his new nature to do so.
Another reason why sinning cannot cause a Christian to lose his salvation is that, in the first place, God does not even keep a record of his sins. This is because all of his sins -- past, present and future -- were already punished in the body of Christ on the cross. In fact, God is not even counting men's (not just Christians) sins against them!
Isaiah 53:55 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Romans 4:88 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."
2 Corinthians 5:19 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Hebrews 8:1212 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
Hebrews 10:17 17 Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."
So, if God still counts men's sins against them, then He is not being faithful and just to the finished work of His Son.

Predestination implies eternal security
Paul talks about predestination in Romans and Ephesians.
Romans 8:29,3029 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Ephesians 1:4-6,114 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
Predestination simply says that God, in His foreknowledge, knew who would accept His Son and who would not. He then predestinated those who would believe in Jesus Christ to be saved and glorified.
Predestination is beautiful because it says that it was God's will, love and pleasure to save us. He did not do it reluctantly. Neither was God's salvation plan a "last-minute" thing or afterthought. No, God predestined us to be saved even before the creation of the world!
The very idea of predestination implies that God knows all things beforehand. He is, after all, omniscient and not bound by time. So, why would God predestinate someone "to be conformed to the image of his Son" when He knows beforehand that this person would eventually renounce Christ and "lose his salvation" (assuming that that is possible)? The very purpose of predestination and God’s perfect foreknowledge contradict this.
Also, note the unbroken chain of events in Romans 8:30: predestinate --> called --> justified --> glorified. God will complete the process for every Christian, not just for some .
In a sense, Christians are already glorified in Christ Jesus, being seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). But there is more to come.
At the rapture, they will receive new imperishable bodies (1 Corinthians 15:52-54). There is also further glorification when the church is presented as the spotless bride to the Father by the bridegroom, Christ Jesus (Ephesians 5:27).
So, how can "them he also glorified" be completely true if believers, after being called and justified, can eventually lose their salvation?

Renouncing Christ
Christians who believe that salvation can be lost generally agree that there are many clear verses in the Bible that support eternal security. However, they draw the line when it comes to a Christian wilfully renouncing Christ. In other words, these same verses don't "cover" the Christian who decides to give up Christ.
But which true-blue, born-again Christian would, in his right mind, suddenly decide to renounce Christ? Surely, it must be a temptation of the devil, a demonic influence. It cannot be a self-contained decision.
This being the case, let's suppose that a Christian does renounce Christ and "lose his salvation". This would mean that the "demons" and "powers" responsible for influencing him into rejecting Christ have succeeded in separating him from the love of God. This scenario, however, contradicts Romans 8:38,39.
Romans 8:38,3938 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Some might still argue that being in hell does not separate us from the love of God. That is simply ridiculous! How can anyone, who is suffering terribly and endlessly in the eternal lake of fire, be experiencing and enjoying the love of God?

He is faithful, not us
Many Christians think that after they are saved, they have to work at keeping their salvation, or they might lose it. This is really no different from trying to earn salvation, which can only be received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).
If we have to do certain things to keep our salvation, then salvation is simply not free. This contradicts Romans 5:15-18 and Romans 6:23, which say that salvation is God's free gift to us. It is free for us but it cost God His darling Son.
Think of it this way: When someone gives you a Christmas gift, do you receive it and then tell him, "Okay, how much do I owe you?" The person will be hurt, if not, offended.
Now, suppose you open up the gift only to find half of it. The giver then tells you, "You'll have to work for the other half." And we think our heavenly Father is like that!
We began in grace, and it is grace that will lead us home, not our performance.
Galatians 3:3 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Christians are also foolish to think that they have the power to "maintain" their salvation. They have fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4). It is God who keeps them saved. It is God who is always faithful, not them.
Philippians 1:6 (NIV)6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
In the above verse, we are even exhorted to be confident (not unsure) of the fact that it is Jesus (not us), who will definitely bring the good work begun in us to completion.
There are so many other verses that assure us that God is the one who keeps us saved, such as:
Romans 14:4 4 Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
1 Corinthians 1:88 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
1 Corinthians 10:1313 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
2 Corinthians 1:2121 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.
Philippians 2:13 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
2 Thessalonians 3:33 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
2 Timothy 4:18 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 2:1818 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Hebrews 7:25 25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Jude 1:24 24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy--

Safety net of God's grace
How does knowing all this help us in our Christian walk? Some have argued that believing in eternal security leads one to sin more. The opposite is true.
Consider circus performers. Does knowing that there is a big, strong safety net below them help or worsen the quality of their performance? The answer is obvious.
Likewise, for the Christian, knowing that he cannot lose his salvation no matter how bad he messes up will encourage him to lift up his head towards heaven and move on, instead of giving up, hiding from God and staying away from church.
This is what's so amazing about God's grace. And the Christian who truly understands and appreciates God's grace is free indeed (John 8:36) but will not want to sin (1 John 3:6,9). Sin will lose its power over him because he is walking under grace -- a very powerful spiritual truth stated in Romans 6:14. It is, after all, grace that brings about genuine and lasting transformation in the believer (Titus 2:11,12, Titus 3:3-8).
On the other hand, Christians who don't understand and appreciate God's grace will say, "What! Shall we sin that grace may abound?" Paul faced the same criticism when he preached the pure gospel of grace (Romans 6:1,15).
So, the next time someone accuses you of preaching a grace message that will lead to a sinful lifestyle, take heart, because you are preaching the same, pure gospel of grace that Paul preached!

Car Accident - God is our Protector

This is a testimony from my dear brother Simon which I had received a while back....witness the Lord's protection...

Praise the Lord. I would like to share my testimony in experiencing God’s
protection.
I have more than 10 years of driving experiences but I have never
encountered a situation like this. Such things can only happen to others…so I
thought.

Last Sunday, after attending the 2nd service, we have
decided to take the kids to the zoo. We took the PIE way towards
BKE.

While we were having a very casual conversation, I noticed a
big truck that normally transports rubbish or debris from the construction sites
swerved into my lane suddenly.

The truck was obviously speeding and
there were cars on all the other lanes and at the same time, a car was trailing
at a distance behind me.

While I was considering of shifting into
the first lane, within split seconds, two white wall panels (2m x 1m) (gypsum
boards/fiber boards) that are commonly used for wall partitioning was lifted off
the truck. Obviously the side panels used by the truck driver to hold down the
debris could not hold down all the boards and debris in his truck. It was too
late for me to swerve away and at the same time, it was so close, I can only
hope that it will fly over me.

The two pieces of fiberboard landed
on the road with a loud thud and for a moment, it looks like a big white wall
was erected right in front of my car. Too late to react, my car just drives
straight into it. There was no scream inside the car, total silence and Xan (My
eldest son, 9 years old) was sitting next to me. I could feel the impact on my
car and on my windscreen. The next thing I know, the two huge boards broke into
pieces and my car was still moving and the windscreen was intact.

The rest of the road users were probably very shocked by what they
have seen. Very quickly, my sense of “what to do next” kicks in and I speed up
and go after the truck. I wanted to take down the vehicle’s
number.

Everyone inside the car got into action and started to
memorize the truck’s number and I blared the car horns at the truck and finally
got it to stop at the road shoulder.

Together with the truck
driver, we inspected the car. For a moment, I was amazed and to be honest, a
little bit embarrass too. The truck driver has this look that says:
“What?”

Besides having a layer of white dust on my bonnet and some
broken pieces of the fiberboard caught in the ventilation area for the radiator,
I could not find a single dent on my car.

With my hands still
shaking, I looked at the driver and said: “If this happens to a motorcyclist,
you would have killed him instantly!” He knows what I was talking about and he
apologized. I believe, in his heart, he was probably very stunned because the
damage could have been worst.

I got back into the car and we
started praying. We thank God for being our protector. So many things could have
gone wrong. If I swerve into the other lanes, it would have collided with the
other vehicles. If I had jammed on my brakes, I would have created a chain
collision.

Most importantly, we were all safe. Nothing broken,
nothing lost. As a family, we realized God has become our Protector and Pastor
Prince taught on this truth in the morning service.

I looked at my
wife and said: “Hearing the right message and attending the right church can
really make a difference between life and death”

God Bless
Simon

The Blessings of Unity in Marriage

Steve and I were married on a beautiful day, August 16, 1980. From the time we said, "I do," we began the incredible journey of two becoming one.Steve and I were both in college at the time. He was just about to enter his fourth and final year of dental school, and I was finishing up my last semester of a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. We entered marriage without a penny to our name and towering school loans, but with an account full of hopes and dreams and love.
All during Steve's senior year, we had one prevailing thought...where will we set up practice and most likely live the rest of our lives? We began the daunting task of seeking God's direction, visiting various cities, and touring existing doctor's offices. I say the word "we" because we had decided that our lives would be a weaving together of a million "we's." It was not Steve's practice...it was our practice. It was not Steve's job...it was our job. It was not Steve's debt...it was our debt. It was not Steve's dream...it was our dream.
After nine months, we felt God calling us to Charlotte, North Carolina. To us, it was a "calling," because there would be no line drawn between work and ministry. The two were melded together. Steve's work would be his ministry. He was going to be working with an older dentist in a growing part of town. Because I had previously worked in four dental practices, I was going to serve as Steve's assistant, hygienist, office manager, receptionist, insurance clerk, and janitor. We were so excited to begin this new chapter of life!
So we packed our meager belongings and moved to an apartment complex about the size of my hometown. The rent was half-price for three months, which would give us a little time to get our feet on the ground.
One week before Steve was to begin, the doctor called Steve into his office. "Steve," he said, "I have decided that neither one of our spouses can ever work in the office in any capacity."
Steve sat there for a moment and then replied, "Then neither can I." They shook hands and Steve walked out the door.
He chose us.
Steve, a young twenty-five year-old recent graduate with mountains of debt, walked away from a seemingly good working situation, because for him, it was "our" practice -- not his practice. Because we had already established that our marriage would be built by the weaving of a million sharings, he was able to do this.
Through the years, that has been our guiding principle...we choose us. Whether it is work, play, in-laws, or ministry related issues, if there is any opportunity that surfaces in our lives that would threaten our unity as a couple, that would seek to divide or separate...we choose us.
Was it hard for Steve to walk away that cool fall day? Yes and no. Yes, because he had no idea what God had in store. No, because he knew that God would not have him place his job over his marriage. He knew that the ultimate purpose for our lives was not a job but a life of two becoming one.
Three months after Steve walked out of the door, God opened another one that was exceedingly, abundantly more that we could have ever asked or dreamt. (Remember that our rent was half-price for three months. God was not surprised and in total control.) As soon as Steve hammered the last nail on the shingle announcing the opening of our practice, the phone began to ring. Years later, Steve's practice is one of the best in Charlotte. He is an amazing man!
I don't want you to get the impression that Steve and I do everything together. That is not the case. I helped him start the practice, but I don't work there now. He doesn't knit and I don't play golf. But when it comes to any issue that deems to separate ...we choose us. When it comes to "choosing sides" in issue with family or friends...we choose us. When it comes to dreams that might interfere with what God has called us to be as a couple...we choose us. And you know what? For twenty-five years, God has looked at our marriage and said, "Well done my good and faithful servants."
Joshua said, "Choose this day whom you will serve" (24:15). Like Joshua, we have said, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. And we will do it together."

love shines

On saturday me and agnes went to catch the big match between singapore and malaysia. been a while since i last been to a live match, let alone one of this significance. it was so nice of agnes to accompany me despite her not really being a footie fan.ad not being 100% fit for it. but there are few things in life that compares to being live at the national stadium . the atmosphere is electrifying at times. The kallang roar is when you see both the best and worse of singaporeans. singapore beat the tigers in penalties to proceed to the finals and face mighty thailand.

yesterday singapore and thailand locked horns in the first leg of the ASEAN championship finals. Noh alam shah scored in the 17 minute to bring the crowd to life. thailand pulled even early on in the 2nd half.
but the real talking point was the penalty awarded to singapore in the 82nd minute for a foul on noh alam shah. It was one of those 50/50 balls and the decision could have gone either way. The slow motion replays were no help. we still have a long way to go to catch up with the EPL.anyway following the awarding of the penalty, the entire thai team stormed off the pitch in protest. This held up play for nearly 15 minutes. in football the refs make mistakes. that is part and parcel of the game. whether it was the right or wrong decision by referee is up for debate. but there is a place and time for such issues. to protest by leaving the field of play is not the right way of doing things. I do hope the AFC takes firm action against the FAT (lol...the Football Association of Thailand....). Such bad sportmanship should be banished from sport, let alone in the finals of the regions premier international championship between the 2 kingpins of ASEAN football.
Now Singapore has to go over to Bangkok to play the 2nd leg of the finals. It is gonna be interesting to say the least. But this singapore side has more steel than most. Raddy has really instilled self-belief and a worksmanlike atitude into his young team. Singapore may lead 2-1, but I think the hardest 90 minutes is ahead of them on Sunday. Go Lions! Go!

In other news, my foot still hurts from my mishap last week. not badly but still you can feel it at times when i walk too briskly or my foot twists in an awkward angle. me is oso(sic)experiencing flu-like symptoms. not a real flu...but accompanying headaches, cough and runny nose. I got a shock at the amount of phelgm i expelled this morning. But otherwise i am fine.

I endeavour to jog and work out more. Agnes seems to have like forgotten completely about our weekly jogs. I set out to jog on either saturdays or sundays whenever possible and also do some weight work on weekdays. of course as with everything to do with me, it is subject to change! i may also find time to jog after work on weekdays or maybe even go down to the under-utillised gym at MND after work sometimes.

I also thinking(sic...again) to cut down on the time i spend in front of my computer monitor. and hopefully spend that time doing more meaningful things with my day. I generally spend all the time from the time I get home until I retire for the night in front of my laptop. amazingly i still find I have little time to blog or do many of the things i would like to. but some things are easier said than done.

Rusty seems to prefer to stay in the upper 2 cages and the hideout that connects to the lower tank. She has not ventured down since the day I put her into her new home. In fact she has even stuffed the tube that leads into the lower tank with wood shavings. I wonder if it has anything to do with the premature deaths of the previous 2 occupants that used to reside in that tank.

I feel like getting more hammies. I now have 1 syrian and 3 winter whites. feel kinda empty in my room with so few hamsters. but i think it is also for the best, as agnes seems to have some sort of allergy to hamster fur. so lesser hams = lesser ah-choo's!

Hopefully this weekend, agnes and I can get down to watching some nice DVD's or VCD's in the comfort of my room. we not made plans yet for this weekend, but it should be good. Tomorrow we are scheduled to go down to Chinatown to check out the chinese new year stuff. Agnes does it as some sort of annual ritual, so this year we do it together, as all good couples should. We also intend to go to the River Hong Bao too. For some reason Agnes has never been to one of the annual CNY river parties. so this year heralds a couple of first for us.

Looks like the marriage preparation thing is stillborn.

Oh yeah...CHOCOLATE FONDUE!! maybe we can do that this saturday too.

human decency.
Looks like some people do not know what it is. Just because you may not like a person, that does not mean whenever that particular person falls ill or takes MC you get all happy and wish death upon them. You do not gossip about it. You do not accuse that person of malingering or say that the person deserves to be sick. I hope anyone that does any of the above gets back in return...double or even triple the pain and sickness. may your suffering be long and your pain agonising.
thank you.

Noel asks me if I am interested to go to Borneo with him in June. It is one of those trips to an orang utan sanctuary. it is cool. never done something like that before. i did not say yes. but i did not say no either. I am keen to go but I gotta see if I can get leave and if things work out on my end at work. and...i wonder how agnes would cope in a mosquito infested forest for 4 days....for curiousities sake.
