I been beng-ified!!

Kenny Sia has a new English-Benglish Translator. So I tried it out for my blog and it really worked. Of course when verses from the Holy Bible get beng-ed it is probably not as funny. Think it works by substituting commonly used Hokkien words in the place of the english ones.Wonder how it took Kenny to do the coding.

Best past is...it works on just about every website I tried,even ...garmen..oops..I mean..government ones.

The last few days have been hard for me. I have not slept or eaten well since this whole thing started. I guess I put too much hope in our relationship. Nadia claims that there are 'severals sides to his personality have come creeping out and I don't like it.' I would definitely love to hear about these sides to my personality.But that is not what this post is about.


Nadia and I have had a long,storied past. Lotsa good memories. More good ones than bad definitely. And I will always treasure those.

I just find it hard to fathom why she would turn on me like this. She lists all her reasons but still somehow I am not convinced.Tactless and biased somehow do not quite cut it. The intellectual property argument? I always cut and paste stuff wholesale without my own comments. I 'steal' stuff off other sites and never link/credit the writers. So how is it connected to all of this?

I guess I will never know.

But rather than let this sorry saga keep me down, I think I will try to gain strength from it. The proverbial silver lining in every cloud. It is darkest just before the dawn. An opportunity to take a step back and evaluate my universe. Make changes for the better and improve on my better points. I may not be perfect. But at least I can make a go of it.

* He copies whole entries from other sources (blogs, websites, emails) wholeheartedly and publishes them as his own entries. Take for example this which is an UNCREDITED direct copy of this original from TalkingCock.com. As mentioned in an earlier entry, I get annoyed by blogs which regularly cut and paste, and do not offer a viewpoint after said pasting.

Well... anyone looking at the comic strip in question can CLEARLY see that it is by Talkingcock.com. I admit I do cut and paste stuff I enjoy and of interest to me on my blog. It is after all my blog and the articles speak for themselves. If I have something to say regarding the matter I would, but if I do not, what is the point of commenting just to please one person who think all articles should be accompanied by comments from the writer? somehow she seems to have blurred the lines between journalistic integrity and blogging. I am writing for myself here mostly yet she wants accreditation, comments, links etc..when it may not always be possible due to constraints or just plain laziness.

Nadia may say I am tactless etc. But as far as I can see in this whole saga the tactless one has been her. She feels free to shoot her mouth on anyone and everything.Yet no one is allowed to offer even constructive criticism in return. When you do, you are deemed tactless and biased.
