Cow and Chicken

After a miss the last time,I learnt my lesson and informed Lisa that I was in her area today so we could meet for lunch. Work went well and according to schedule so I managed to make our appointment time at 12.
I am not sure how long it has been since we last met (a month? or more?). But it was nice to see Lisa again. Although we have not met up in person since the last time we have been in regular contact on MSN Messenger almost everyday since then even whilst she was away in Shanghai! We ate lunch at the food centre place at Neythal Rd. We ate at the Muslim food place Lisa recommended, The food was fairly good and worth another trip if only for the company *wink wink*

After that Lisa showed me around her office .

Will be seeing Lisa this Saturday. The BBQ thingy is off. So most probably Lisa and I will go do all the stuff we discussed. We may go to the beach or go see cows.Maybe have a teddy bear picnic..or...eat Ben and Jerry's ice cream!!

Cow returned to work,as did I...

After work I met up with Maybel. She is now on one of her diets again. I think she has been on a diet as long as I known her intermittently. Well...now she is on one of those where she eats only one meal a day. ha ha...
Well me being the foodie that I am made short change of that. As  the saying goes," a leopard never changes it's spots". Maybel love to eat almost as much as I do so it came as little surprise when she deviated from her diet plan!
We ate at the fish soup noodle place Maybel had been raving about. The noodles were accompanied by otah. After that we adjourned to the prata place a few doors down for roti john!!

Maybel the chick was sent home.

Last heard she was drinking tea at home to overcome her guilt at having eaten too much again. *Bwaaa-haaaa-haaaaaa...*

Finally met up with Simona. It has been like nearly 4 years since we last seen each other (if you discount that run-in thingy we had a City Hall MRT a couple of years back).And we have known each other like more than 6 years already. But funny thing is that we have never actually sat down and talked for any extended period of time. We sorta restricted ourselves to just talking crap whilst on 'official duty' at the Zoo. I did not know very much about Simona and she did not know very much about me either despite our long acquaintance and our regular contact.

I met Simona at Heeren.There was some sort of mis-communication where Simona waited outside (near the Old Chang Kee) and I was inside near the HMV and fountain. But in the end we managed to find each other. Being chronically indecisives we finally settled on having ice-cream at Swensen's. We followed dessert by having a main course!! For ice-creams I had Merrimint and Sims had this other thing with a strange generic name (almost).For main courses I had Fish Baked Rice and Simona had a Sandwich with a strange generic name also!!
After that the indecisives took a walk down Orchard towards Forum where we had coffee at Coffee Beans & Tea Leaf. Actually neither of us had coffee. I had an ice blended cocoa and Simmy had a banana thingy with a somewhat generic name.

It was cool to talk with her and finding out stuff that I shoulda known a long time ago. She sure has some rather sobering tales of her dating(?) experiences. They make my own experiences pale by comparision. If anything Simona is witty and smart in an almost condescending way.Just the way I like it. No wonder we get along...

After 'coffee', Simona like the 'gentleman' she is walked me to my car which was parked at Cairnhill. I gave her a lift to Mohamad Sultan's where she was gonna meet some friends.

Went to church with Joyce. It is great that we are are good terms once again. Can't imagine my life without her in it. After church we went to the Orchard area to look for earpieces for our X70's. I managed to buy a bluetooth one from the M1 shop at Paragon. We had dinner at the Scotts Shopping Centre food court.
Joyce was more into getting a new pair of glasses so we had shopped around Suntec and the Orchard area for them.

In case anyone is wondering,I sent Joyce home!!
