A woman went to her doctor for a followup visit after the doctor had prescribed testosterone (a male hormone) for her. She was a little worried about some of the side effects she was experiencing.

"Doctor, the hormones you've been giving me have really helped, but I'm afraid that you're giving me too much. I've started growing hair in places that I've never grown hair before."

The doctor reassured her. "A little hair growth is a perfectly normal side effect of testosterone. Just where has this hair appeared?"

"On my balls."

random thoughts

woo-hooo! U2 got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Bruce Springsteen.Yeahhhh!! But it kinda feels like it is too soon.It is like they are still rockin like it is 1999 and just released another Grammy winning album. Well...I guess it was gonna happen sooner or later.So it happened sooner.

Have you guys seen the Miss Universe Singapore finalist? Good grief! I will review all the contestants in my next blog. *barf*

It is Agnes and mine 1 month anniversary today. Yayyyy!! We managed to last one month without killing each other!! Double Yayyyyy!! I have a surprise in store for her.*devious grin*.Can't divulge more here as I know she reads my blog too.

Redid my room(again) now the bed is by the wall next to my cabinet showcase thing. All the junk that was in front of my cabinet is now lying in a heap by my fish tank. A lot more conducive to the naps Agnes and I take . :P

Have not started on my mosaic jig saw. was supposed to start this week but somehow never found the time. by the way it is a picture of a lion made up of hundreds of smaller pictures of Big Cats.Hence a mosaic. Coolness. Too bad they din have one of a tiger. that woulda been the greatest thing.

Gotta go out with Agnes to buy a dress and some scented candles.

Bought a new cordless vacuum cleaner. It works fine but it just..err...isn't powerful enough. I like it when it sucks well.

Things are a-changing at the office... not much i can say right now....cos i promised not to tell anyone...yet...

It has been 5 days and leon has not blogged about his day

Mass hysteria covers entire cities. Governments are overthrown. Bubble Gum gets allowed in Singapore. Nudity becomes commonplace. Marshmallow Bunnies rule the world. No one has to pay taxes. Oil is found in Singapore. Peace in the Middle East. nations come together in unity.dogs and cats sleep side by side.pots of gold are found at the end of every rainbow. school syllabus are changed to exclude algebra and arithmetic,in favour of extended recesses and actual sex education classes. The hare actually wins a race against the tortoise. fish learn to ride bicycles. men actually start to get an inkling of the complexities and nuances of the female mind. free tv actually does not have any pesky ads every five minutes.Pigs learn to fly. Hell freezes over. Crime rates fall to levels unseen since crime rates were documented. Civil Servants actually act civil and make it their duty to 'serve'. We finally come to know what that thing on Gorbachev's head was. Elvis was discovered at a supermarket in Ang Mo Kio. the Lions bring back the World Cup. The Beatles have a reunion tour. Kenny does not get killed in an episode of South Park. Sarong Party Girl and Singapore True Ghost Stories becomes required reading in schools. Singapore Girls once again are Singaporeans. It is discovered Char Kway Teow is actually good for your heart. An Opposition member actually makes libellious accusations against the ruling party and is not sued or forced to flee the country.

...all because leon has not blogged lately...

beach hounds

It is sunday and usually i go to church on sundays. but i did not go to church today. i picked agnes up from her place and then we headed to east coast park near the food centre. there was a Fun by the Beach featuring pets. The bulk of the animals that came were dogs of all shapes and sizes, although there were some house rabbits and small rodents seen participating in the festivities.

Of special note is that Camou peed on Agnes t-shirt as she was carrying him from the car. I guess she is now officially part of the Boyd family. Yayyyyy...

We spent a few hours walking around the various stalls and admiring all the nice dogs. We also walked to the Bedok jetty.After our walk we headed back to the car and I drove back to my place. We had to send Camou home otherwise dinner would be difficult since many places are not dog-friendly. Instead of sending Agnes home or going for dinner we relaxed and took ANOTHER nap before having dinner at Wah Hoe's at around 10 pm. Agnes got to try the famous prawn paste chicken wings.After that I sent my lass back home.

Where did all the time go? Seems like ages since I last blogged. (Actually less than a week) Have been spending lots of time with my Agnes. It all seems like a blur. I dun remember what we did but here is a summary of what I did (I think) this week

MONDAY: gym with Hasli and Poh

TUESDAY: Was off. Hung around town.Met Agnes for lunch.Watched Team America:World Police. Hilarious stuff. A must see. Later on met up with Agnes again with her friend at City Hall.

WEDNESDAY : Went to Agnes place. Had dinner and watched TV. Agnes practiced here piano.

THURSDAY: Watched Million Dollar Baby at Lido with my baby. It lived up to the hype. Hillary Swank,Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood really excelled in their roles. A touching if somewhat sad movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Agnes though is not one for 'sad movies'. After movie we went to East Coast for dinner.

FRIDAY: Office bought KFC for all of us. I took my share and picked Agnes up from Lavender MRT before heading out to Labrador Park. We had our chicken dinner at one of the benches near the BBQ pits. Too bad the sky was a bit overcast and hazy. Woulda been nice to have seen a sunset. After dinner we sat around a bit before heading back to the car. I showed Agnes the lookout point atop Labrador Hill before we headed to East Coast Park.

SATURDAY: Was working today. After work had dinner with Dr Ali at Northpoint before heading back to the office for some UAT testing which finished at around 5 pm. At least I get a full day off for it. Gave Dr a lift to Tanjong Pagar before meeting up with my dear at MND. She was on duty today. I got to see her cubicle and stuff. We were like the only ones there with the exception of a couple of IT guys. When she was done we headed back to my place. Took a nap of sorts before the parents got back. Had dinner at Buckaroo's. Was a warm humid night and the service was slow. Went back to my place. Later on in the night (read:morning) sent Agnes home. *yawn*
