Today Joyce and I attended a friends wedding dinner. It was very much like every other wedding dinner I have attended. As usual it started late (invitation card stated '7.30 sharp' but the do started at about 9.15) and everyone was late. I would place myself in the 'moderately late' category as I reached there after the time (7.45) indicated on the invitation but before 70% of the other guest. Being on time would be an obvious sign that my boss does not give me enough overtime and work to do at home which means that I am not an important member of staff in my company. Being on time may also be misinterpreted that I do not actively participate in household chores or have any important appointments on weekends.
